★Chapter Seven★

I wake up with a huge smile on my face as I stretch my legs and arms before rubbing my eyes. It feels like the best day ever.

I look at my nightstand and grab my phone just to see a text from Xavier saying,

Good morning, beautiful

I smile the widest smile I think I've ever smiled. I text him back saying,

Good morning, Xavier

I look at the time and it's 6:30. "Oh shit I'm late!" I grab my towel and run to the bathroom to take a shower. I turn the water to the hottest setting because who doesn't.

I wait for the water to heat up before stripping my clothes off and getting on the shower. I lather myself up making sure I exfoliate and then I get out of the shower and brush my teeth.

I walk to my room and put on a blue sweater and some jeans with some uggs.

I then style my butterfly locs into a half up half down.

I put in my earrings and grab my bookbag. Today, I'm going with my brother and Xavier since Avery is coming late.

I walk downstairs and say good morning to everyone before me and Kemari go get Xavier. I scroll through TikTok with my airpods in my ears.

Kemari and I get in the car, I sit in the back since Xavier is most likely going to sit in the front. Kemari turns to me, "So what's going on with you and Xavier?"

I look up from my phone at him, "Nothing, we were just talking on the phone." He side eyes me,"Nigga stop lying."

I glare at him,"I'm literally not." He rolls his eyes and starts driving,"You literally are, I heard him calling you 'Ma' and shit."

I sigh,"He probably calls every girl that." He looks at me through the rearview mirror,"I guess."

After a couple of minutes, we get to his house. Kemari calls Xavier to come outside. As usual Xavier comes outside looking fine as fuck

I smile when I make eye contact with him, he walks in the car and daps up Kemari before smiling at me, "Good morning, beautiful." I smile even more, "Good morning, Xavier."

Kemari gags, "Stop the couple shit in my car." Me and Xavier laugh as Kemari starts the car again and starts driving to the school.

Eventually, we get to school, I open the door just to see it getting slammed in my face. The door opens again but this time it wasn't by me, in fact, Xavier opened it for me.

I smile as he helps me get out the car. We walk to the entrance of the school as both Kemari and Xavier rest their arm on my shoulder like I'm an arm rest.

We're met with an enraged Scarlett. She pushes my shoulder. "Why the hell is his arm on you?!" She says in the most annoying voice ever.

I roll my eyes, "Put your hands on me again and make you whiter than you already are." With that she pushes me one more time so kept my promise, I put on a couple rings before punching her in her shit.

I blink for like two seconds and I see we're in a crowd and Ashanti is on top of Scarlett punching the shit out of her. Ashanti has half of her... What is called again? Oh yeah butterfly locs!

She has her hair in a half up half down and Scarlett takes the chance to try and pull them. But before she gets the chance, Ashanti punches her in the jaw.

I notice that her rings have points which probably makes the punches sting even more. Me and Kemari push through the crowd and get Ashanti off of Scarlett, it took us a little while since Ashanti's grip on Scarlett hair was very strong.

When we do get Ashanti off of her Scarlett has bruises and gashes on her face from the rings digging her skin when Ashanti was punching her.

Ashanti was screaming about how Scarlett should've never put her hands on her and how Scarlett is a pussy ass bitch.

I throw her over my shoulder as her ass to be right in front of my face, I should take a bite. I turn my head to Kemari whose watching me carefully.

Keep screaming and I'ma give you something to scream about.

Nahh lemme stop.
