One week later

"That's not even fair, you cheated!" Ashton protested to me as he waved his controller around in his hands and gesturing to the score from our heated Fifa game

"And, How exactly did I cheat?" I asked, smirking and laughing at his ridiculousness

"I don't know, but you did" He said, basically because he had no way to back up his theory that I cheated on the video game

"Right, so give me my $20 dollars" I reached my hand out towards him

"What? No" he scoffed

"Such a bad sport" I shook my hand at him "you know what keep the money and get yourself a hair cut" I told him

"Hey! What's wrong with my hair?" He asked taking one of his bronze curls between his fingers

"Nothing" I told him "if you like the Tarzan look"

"Fuck you and your Cristiano Ronaldo looking hair cut" he shot back. Commenting on the new hair cut I got a few days ago

"Maybe that's why I'm so good at this game" I pointed out nonchalantly "and Aurora liked this hair cut" I added

"Well Addison likes my hair long" he wiggled his eyebrows "she likes something to grab onto"

"Ew, didn't need to know that" I shook my head and then finally shut the game off

"Still think you cheated" he laughed. As he collapsed onto my couch and I got up to turn the tv off the game and onto cable

"Whatever helps you sleep at night"

"So Ash I see you're still shit at Fifa" was the first thing Michael said when he walked through the door with calum trailing behind him. I had called them over to hang out with us

"Apparently" Ashton nodded

"Oh, so you're finally accepting your defeat?"

"Yep" he shrugged

"Well, I'm sure you can't be as bad as me" Calum told Ashton as he sat down on the couch next to him and Mikey found a comfortable spot on the recliner

"Eh, I wouldn't be too sure about that" Michael said as he folded him arms back behind his head

"I wasn't good at it to begin with, I will never be good at it" Ashton through his hands up, as in surrendering to his terrible Fifa abilities.

"It's like me when I took chemistry" Michael laughed

"You never took calculus" Calum groaned "it was the worst"

"Eh, I was a math person. History almost bored me to death. The only reason I passed was because Aurora always made me study"

"You must be excited you guys got into the same university" Ashton said

"Yeah" I smiled "what about you and Addison?" I asked

"Only about two hours apart. We'll make it work" he smiled, thinking about her

Then Ashton's phone in his jeans pocket started ringing and he pulled it out and looked at the caller ID

"Speak of the little devil, she's calling. I'll be back" he said getting off the couch and answering "hey babe" was all we heard as he walked out of my living room.

"Angela and I need to talk about that" Calum sighed "we are going to be a long ways apart"

"So you chose the school in London?" I asked him

"Yep" he nodded "and she chose NYU"

"New York?" Michael asked shocked "did you know she was applying there?"

"Yeah, I just didn't know how serious she was on going there" Calum sighed, leaning his head back against the back of the couch and closed his eyes

"Damn, man I'm sorry" Michael told him.

"I'm sure you guys will work-" I began to say to him, when Ash walked back into the room

It seemed he had just hung up the phone and the look on his face didn't look like it was good news

"Ash, what's wrong?" I asked him, seriously, sitting up and the other boys did too

"Luke, you need to call Aurora" he told me, his eyes were wide as he looked at me and filled with confusing

"Why? What's wrong?" I shot up out of my seat

"Addison didn't tell me, just that you need to go down the street to Aurora's house because she needs you" he shook his head as he explained to me

I grabbed my phone and walked right out my front door. I have no idea what could be wrong, and why didn't she call me instead of Addison Calling Ashton? I began to run down the sidewalk until I got to the front of her house.

After I knocked on the front door, I waited, bouncing on the balls of my feet waiting in anticipation. When the door finally opened Addison was standing on the other side of it. She had a sad look in her eyes and she looked at me with a deep sympathy that didn't make me feel good about this situation

"She's in her room" Addison told me, moving aside to let me through

I took the stairs two at a time and made my way to her room. When I opened the door to her room I saw her sitting on the floor, hands covering her face and I could see her shoulders shaking with sobs.

"Aurora" I breathed out. She instantly looked up and turned to look at me in the doorway, with tears in her eyes and her cheeks puffy and red

"Luke" her voice was cracked and was cut off by a sob

"Baby, are you alright?" I got on my knees in front of her and took her hands gently away from her face

"I-I don't know what t-to do" she sputtered and shook her head

"About what?" I asked softly pulling her into my arms

"I-I got a c-call from-" she started to say, but I cut her off

"Hey, it's okay. Just calm down before you tell me okay?" I cooed and she nodded and wrapped her arms around me and buried her head into my neck

I rocked her in my arms, letting her let out all her crying, not even caring she was getting the shoulder of my shirt with her tears. I was trying to rack my brain about what could cause her to become so upset.

"I'm okay" she whispered after a while and pulled away from me

"You sure?" I asked, wiping a tear away from her cheek with my thumb. She nodded and started talking

"I got a call today" she started and sniffed "I- I think that I have to go back to New York" she whispered

"New York?" I asked, my eyebrows knitting together "why would you-"

Then it hit me. The only thing that could have made the thought of going home to New York so terrible for her. The reason for her tears and fearful expression

"Aaron" I growled

Last exam tomorrow! Woo!

But its chemistry at 8am so I'm basically going to die. Pray for me guys 😂

I also start work soon, but I'm still going to work hard to finish this story for you guys soon! And also start my new story long with continuing with careless whispers
