DELILAH MONTGOMERY was a problem child. From the day she was born, she took up all her parents time. Crying, screaming, whining. They had seven other children to care and worry for, for gods sake. But no, Delilah Cora Montgomery just had to be the one problem child they had. Not the five quintuplets they had been bestowed with, no a whining, useless little girl that was the source of everyone's headaches.

DELILAH MONTGOMERY was a disappointment. Every damned year she would be expelled, kicked out, removed or just not allowed back, by each school she attended for 'disruptive behaviour', 'poor grades', 'delusions' and on numerous occasions, parents were advised to take psychiatric trips for the multiple hallucinations and delusions the young girl seemed to have. No matter how many times her parents smiled and tried to reassure the infant girl as she cried about being a failure, she could see the agreement in their eyes. Why couldn't she just be like her siblings? Why was she the broken one?

DELILAH MONTGOMERY was a recluse. By the time she had reached second grade, Delilah Montgomery had gone mute, refused to make friends and barely spent time with anyone. Why should she? All she did was disappoint people, let them down, make them sad, cause arguments between her mom and dad about her so-called 'purpose in life'. What purpose did an irredeemable, ill-tempered little girl serve in a world that did not deserve to deal with her? It would be better for everyone if she just didn't exist, so she acted like she didn't. It was easier that way. No expectations weighed on her shoulders.

lily of the valley is book ONE of my LILIES series.

this series and book will take place within percy jacksons and the olympians universe, and will follow both the original book series and the current tv show adaptation, though most inspiration and events will be following the book with a few tv show moments within this series. i highly recommend you read LILIES in order, as some events and characters may be unknown and it could potentially be confusing. finally, when released, some characters may not have face claims to go off of due to not knowing some of the god/goddess actors/actresses, please be patient as i slowly begin to cast my original characters. furthermore, i hope you enjoy my book and the series as a whole.
