Meaning -- A "child of a charnel house" refers to a being, often a monster or creature, created from dead, decaying, or discarded body parts, symbolizing something born of death, ruin, and profound unnatural horror. Children of Thanatos are possibly one of the rarest demigods out there. The odd time Thanatos does have a relationship with a mortal, the child often never passes into the realm of the living, instead going straight to their father. An even rarer case, is when the child does pass to the world of living and can sustain themselves there without causing immediate harm to their surroundings. Xevia Croft is one of these children.
