I float on top of the water, making lsure not to get my hair wet. I feel the water run through my body. I feel at peace for once in my life since the accident.

Living here with the Walter's has made it more chaotic, but I guess it helps me keep my mind off of the dead parent's topic.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who swims at night." I hear a voice chuckle, me shooting up, the water splashing with me.

"Oh my god, Isaac you almost made me have a heart attack." I laugh a little.

"Sorry about that, angel." He smirks, getting in the pool as well.

"You need to stop calling me that. Other people will probably think of it wrong." I scoff at him.

He slowly gets closer to me. We are maybe a foot apart, us staring at each other.

I can't help but let my eyes drift down to his chest, it's heaving. It's going up and down but I look lower and see slightly toned abs.

His abs are like a models abs and just look fake, but his are slightly there and I like that.

"See something you like?" He smirks again.

I scoff at him, splashing him with water. He splashes water back, but much more than what I splashed.

After a while, we both end up being a in sort of 'splash war'. I get closer to him, in an effort to splash him more.

I move up my hand, to splash him more, but he catches my hand, pulling me closer to him.

This is when I realize how close we are. Our noses are almost touching. Both of our breathing is getting heavier. He looks down at my lips, his chest heaving.

He puts his hands on my hips, my hands falling to his chest. Just as he is about to lean in—

"Oh my god! I— I'm so sorry." Danny says, covering his eyes.

Me and Isaac shoot apart immediately, avoiding eye contact, we both get out. I grab a towel I brought out here, drying off slightly, then throwing on my big tee.

"Umm—Hey Danny." I mutter under my breath, standing besides him. While Isaac leaves and goes inside, probably to his room.

After a long akward silence, Danny speaks up. "Have you heard of the party that's happening tomorrow?"
