Lonely Ocean Journey

Loneliness,
An ocean of emptiness,
A vast expanse of blue,
A solitary ship adrift,
With no one to pull it through.

The waves they crash around me,
And toss me to and fro,
But I am but a passenger,
With nowhere else to go.

I long for some companionship,
To ease this constant ache,
But until that day arrives,
I am lost upon this wake.

So I will sail these lonely seas,
And hope to find my way,
And pray that I might one day reach,
The shores of brighter days.
