"Is Wizard having fun?" Gingerbrave thought as he looked to his boyfriend, who was reading on their date. This wasn't uncommon, but it happened more than Gingerbrave liked, "Am I not entertaining enough? Does he hate me? Is he bored?" he thought, each thought taking a toll on his insecurity.
*Switch to Wizards POV*
"He's always playing cuphead while I'm reading. Does he not enjoy our dates? I thought the silence was nice." He thought, looking at him.
"Hey -" they both said at the same time
"Sorry.." Wizard mumbled
"No! No! You go first, " Gingerbrave said
Wizard sighed. "Do you love me anymore -" He mumbled. Gingerballs looked confused, "Why wouldn't I.. we are on a date, aren't we?" He said. Wizard nodded, but he still looked down. "Hey, look, I'll show you!" Gingerbrave smiled as he rushed off. Wizard sat there, waiting....and waiting....and waiting. (he waited for like 30 minutes) Gingerbrave rushed back in. "I made you something!" He gave him a brownie. Wizard looked at the brownie, then at Gingerbrave, and just started crying. "What- wait, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Gingerbrave panicked. Wizard looked up. "I love you so much," he cried. Gingerbrave hugged him. "I love you too." Wizard bit into the brownie. It tasted awful. At least it was made with love? Gingerbrave started up the game and handed Wizard a controller. They played gayly ever after ♥︎
