you greet the stream with a warm smile and a wave. "hello! happy new year everyone!" you blow kisses to the camera and the chat goes crazy, flying by in a blur. you catch one message asking for a fit check, so you oblige, standing up and doing a slow twirl for the camera.

"and!" you show off your newly painted nails to the camera with a flourish. "i made walker paint them," you say proudly. "he did a pretty good job, don't you think?"

"where did i get the ring?" you read a chat aloud and remember you're wearing one on your ring finger. "oh, walker gave this to me."
you take it off and hold it up to the camera. you smile and your ears turn pink, remembering how stuttery he had been when handing you the box.
inside was a thin ring, with two hearts interlinked in the centre. he had looked at the floor, mumbling about how he saw this in the shop of a window and thought of you.
"it reminded me of us, and how we're always by each other's side." he said nervously, refusing to make eye contact and shrugging like it was no big deal.
he held your hand gently, as if you might break from his touch, and slipped the ring onto your finger. he admired the way it looked on you with a tender smile.
your eyes misted over as you hugged him. when you laid your head on his chest you could feel his heart racing.
"i love it. thank you."
you hadn't taken the ring off since.
"okay, so today i thought i'd do a fun little stream," you say, clapping your hands. "and play some roblox with you guys." the chat explodes appreciatively. they demanded you play total roblox drama.
on the first round, your team lost, so you had to choose someone to vote out. "hey, listen." you stare directly at the camera, knowing your chat would vote you out just to troll you. "if you guys kick me out, i might rage quit and exit the game. then you wouldn't get to play against me again."

they end up voting out another person. you eventually make it to the final round, which is an obby. your opponent makes every jump perfectly, leaving you in the dust and winning the game.
you begin a slow clap, breaking your stunned silence. "well, congratulations, stacyletmeseethekids69."

suddenly the chat starts saying hi to walker. "walker? what?" you question aloud as you scroll up and read his chat, trying not to show how excited you were.
"okay, sorry i'm not a tryhard," you reply to his comment defensively, throwing your hands up. the chat asked to get him on the stream, but you explained that he was busy. you liked when he made an effort to watch even when he had to do other things.
