you're at san diego comic con, behind a booth signing merch and greeting fans. walker is beside you, engrossed in conversation with a group of girls. as the day wore on, you pretended not to notice people in line looking at walker in adoration, giggling amongst themselves about how cute he was. occasionally, walker would rest his hand on your knee under the table, giving it a reasurring squeeze.
you felt a nudge at your shoulder from walker. he looks at you, eyes gleaming, holding out a handmade mini figure of him. "how cool is this?" he exclaims in awe, holding it out to you. you admire the hard work put into it, taking it gingerly in your hands.
"thats awesome," you agree, smiling. it was sweet when he'd share his excitement with you when interacting with fans.
"we made you one too!" the pair of girls say, holding a mini figure of you out.
"omg, really? thank you so much!" you accept the gift, melting at how creative and thoughtful your fans were.
"you two are our favourites on the show," one girl admits shyly.
"and you two are so cute together," the other chimes in, a wide smile spread across her face. you and walker let out embarassed chuckles, thanking them for their kind words.
"i think she definitely brings all the cuteness for the both of us," walker smiles softly. you blush a little.
"guys don't be fooled, he's not this nice when he's alone with me," you tease, lightening the mood. the fans laugh along playfully as walker scoffs, feigning mock offence with a hand over his heart.
"only kidding." you squeeze his arm.
you sign more stuff for fans and snap a few photos, answering any quick questions that they had. a guy fan comes up to you, holding a shirt he wants you to sign. as you hand the shirt back to him, his hand lingers for a moment longer. it was just a mere few seconds, but walker caught it.
the guy says his thanks again, nodding at you before leaving. the guy looks over at walker fleetingly, who seems a bit annoyed; jaw clenched slightly, gaze hardening. you turn to face him, smirking at the expression on his face.
"something wrong?" you tease.
walker huffs, glaring over in the direction the guy left in.
"you seem tense," you snicker, poking his cheek. "worried he'll steal me away?"
walker raises an eyebrow. "funny."
a new wave of fans come, and his eyes are dragged away from yours. an hour goes by when you hear footsteps approaching you from behind. a pair of arms wraps around you, and a chin rests on your shoulder.
"mr. scobell, don't u have fans to attend to?" you pretend to be stern, craning your head to look behind you.
"they can wait." he mumbles, burying his head into your neck. the fan you were chatting to seems confused for a moment before chuckling at how cute the situation was. walker hums, standing up straight behind you, his hands placing themselves on your shoulders.
so, now your two seperate sections became one.
during the panel interview, walker couldn't keep his eyes off you. he knew he should focus on the interview, and he really did try, but he couldn't help but keep glancing at you every few seconds.
you, on the other hand, were blissfully unaware, staring out into the overwhelming crowd or focusing on the interviewer, tapping your foot nervously.
aryan nudges walker to get him back into reality. he lets out a sheepish laugh before asking the interviewer to repeat the question. a few giggles burst out in the crowd, one person whispering about how he's too similar to percy jackson.
