WHEN REALITY HITS PERFECT

CHAPTER 16

The siren went off for us to enter our classes and just as I was about to go talk to her dozens of students blocked my way and by the time I had reached her
spot, she was gone.

I mentally cursed them all entered the premises. Katie walked hand in hand with that junior as if they were old friends and I wondered how she knew her since it was the first time she entered this school.

I don't know of people recognised Katie or something but she looked super famous to them.

"OMG is she some kind of supermodel or something?" Someone behind me asked

"Why wouldn't she be?, she's got the looks" a girl said with her eyes burning with jealousy

"She's all mine boys and girls so step away from her" Owen a heartthrob said

Like I would've let him have her all to himself. Wait what was I saying?

Anyways I followed behind as she met with a teacher

"Miss Park we're so happy you could be with us for the few days that we would be in school. You can forfeit the exam and just come to school of you like" the teacher suggested

"And what's the fun in that?, I did go to school after all and I'll like to access myself and see if I could the marks my Dad wanted me to get. It'll make me happy if I could do that" she said with a heart stopping smile and the teacher looked over the moon

"This is the type of spirit we need in our school. OK I'll get someone to take you to your class to write them" he told her with a smile and she nodded happily. Wow, I've never seen anyone look so happy to take an exam.

Just then an idea popped into  mind

"Mr. Barnes I'll take Miss Park to her class" I offered and they turned round.

Mr. Barnes looked at me speechless, I hardly spoke to the teachers and students and obviously never offered to take students to class

Mr. Barnes looked at me for a while before his lips cracked into a smile.

"What a happy day today is, I wonder which side of the bed that I slept on yesterday because I must sleep there again" he said so happily but my attention wasn't on him at all.

I was looking at Katie and she at me. She looked so surprised to see me and then her lips cracked into a smile

"Jace, I didn't know you attended school here" she said and how she shortened my name made it sound like it had been coated with honey.

"Jace?" I asked in a monotonous tone and she rolled her eyes

"Come on don't be sour" she said and then suddenly came up to me and whispered into my ears

"I know you like it" she teased and her hot breath against my ears made it tingle.

How did she know, was it shown all over my face?, but I was usually difficult to read.

Just then we heard a gasp and we turned round to see two girls a blonde and a brunette looking at us standing so close together.

They looked at Katie with such envy and hatred but she was obviously confused with how they were glaring at her.

"Emm, what's happening?" She asked me and I smiled within

"They hate you calling me sour" I lied and she looked surprised

"Why, but you're not sweet are you?" She asked and I didn't know how to answer that. I knew I wasn't sweet but I didn't really like being called sour

Seeing me lost in thoughts she took that as an opportunity and spoke a little bit louder than normal for the girls to hear
