Igh so after allat freaky shi happened I went to journeys house to pick a dress 😭 .
I knocked on the door and she opened it.
"Heyy journey" I said walking in her house.
"Heyy mamii I've missed you" she said.
"Mee too but like I can't wait to see the dressesssss" I said in a exciting tone.
"Ouuu girll let me tell you them shits fye lemme show you" she said.
She started walking up the stairs to her room and I followed her.
She opened her door and went to her closet and picked them out.
"Alr which one u want" journey said holding up the three dresses.
1. Was a short green rhinestone dress.
2. Was a long pink dress.
3. Was a tan plain dress
I stared at the dresses deciding which one I want.
"Uh..I think I'ma go with the green one" I said.
"Ouu girll yess that super cute here." She said handing me the dress.
"Thank you..journey who are u going to prom with?" I asked.
"U-uh James" journey said.
"James?..okay girl..anyways I'll see u at prom I'ma go home and get ready" I said hugging her.
"Okay girl byee" journey said.
I left the house and started walking to my house til I saw dd.
"Hey dd" I said looking at him.
"Wassup Mami" he said giving me a kiss.
"Where you going?" I asked.
"Uh..to go to journeys house for prom she changed her mind." He said.
"Oh? She did?" I asked.
"Yeah and-" he got cut off by a ding coming from his phone.
"Oh my bad Mami I gotta go she just texted me I'll talk to ya later" he said walking off.
I was sad..not because there going to prom together it's the fact SHE LIED TO ME like how could she.
I walked back to my house holding my tears back and opened my door seeing my mom cooking.
"Oh hey bab-" I cut her off by storming into my room slamming my door.
"AHLANI GET THE FUCK IN HERE" my mom said yelling and I came downstairs.
"Sit Lani" she said calmly and I sat down.
"Now what happened?" She asked and I busted out in tears and explained to her about everything.
"Ahlani u shouldnt be crying over that boys were always like that.. including ur dad." My mom explained.
"I know but like I just miss dad so much I wish he were home right now but he has a business job interview in Atlanta." I explained to my mom.
"I know baby b-" she got cut off my her phone ringing.
She picked up her phone and answered it.
"Hello?" My mom said on the phone.
"What? Omg okay I'll let her know she's right here rn" my mom said in a shocking tone and hung up.
"Lani ur dad is coming back tomorrow" she said.
"Omg really??" I said.
"Yeah really..now go back to ur room and DONT SLAM MY FUCKIN DOORS AGAIN" she said.
