Mikasa POV
'You didn't have to come,' I said as I opened the door for Annie. She strutted in the room with a very worried expression.
She turned towards me and replied 'You're my friend. I'll always be here for you.' I smile at her and walk towards the lounge whilst throw myself onto the couch. I grab a pillow and clutch it across my chest and pat the seat next to me. 'So what's wrong?'
She sits beside me with a calm expression, trying to encourage me to talk. 'Last night when I was on my way home, I walked past a hotel and saw Jean with another woman.' Annie's face scrunched together and immediately I knew she was pissed.
She got up and screamed 'That bastard! I never liked him!' I tried calming her down but it didn't work.
'I just want to forget about it for now.' I say glumly whilst looking at the ground.
Annie calms down and sits beside me with a smile. 'I understand. I'm the one that should be trying to talk to you, not the opposite way around.' She grabs her bag and says 'Get changed and come to the gym with me. It'll distract you. I have a pass for this great gym and they even have professional athletes there.' She tries cheering me up with the temptation of good looking athletes. I smiled and decide to go. I need to distract myself and this was the only way.
'The gym it is.' I say whilst going towards my bedroom to get changed.
