Late night- Josh jenkinson

as the rain pattered against the window, I cuddled closer to josh on our couch, warm by the fire. I could smell his cologne and snuggled closer as he ate cherry jellies and watched the movie. I looked up at the clock on our mantle, "00:47"

He paysed the movie and i looked upbat him, confused "Cmon Baby its Late you should head to bed you have work early tomorrow" josh said kissing the top of my head lovingly, I looked up at him shaking my head
"I wanna stay up with you though it's not even 1am yet, and we're literally on the best part we can't stop now!" I whined as
He sighed, a smile plastered on his face

I got up off of the couch, josh looking at me, I turned to get something behind the couch, josh looking at me puzzled

I pulled up his guitar wrapping the strap around me, I don't even know how to play anything, barely a few chords

Josh looked up at me, smiling as I danced around, holding his guitar messing with the strings
As I spun around a familiar warm pair of arms wrapped around my waist, embracing me in a hug, he hummed songs onto my shoulder as we spun in circles.

Then the warm arms lifted towards the strings, strumming in sync with my playing, the two of us smiling as we played together, feeling him smirk into my shoulder made my heart flutter. God, I am so in love with this man

As we played the melody to Brazil by decline mckenna I couldn't help but giggle, josh was so focused as he played along with me, his concentrated face making me smile, i looked up into his eyss and he looked down at mine, our gaze lingered, He smiled as he placed a kiss on my lips, me kissing almost instantly, tasting the cherry flavour.

As we kissed, I didn't even notice as he unwrapped the guitar strap off me, placing it down by the couch,
Suddenly, he picked me up, breaking our kiss, I wrapped my legs around his waist and smiled as we kissed again, more passionately this time

He walked down the hall and through our bedroom door, kicking it shut behind him, and I smiled
It was definitely gonna be a late night now
