Stay humble, stay strong
Don't bend at their will
Update and respect
And take time to resolve
Love hard, play fair
Surrender to change
Understand and depend
And lean on your friends
Treat well and give space
And teach what you know
Listen and develop
And go with the flow
Protect and redirect
Until everyone knows
You are honest
And faithful
And don't tolerate hate
You're funny
And friendly
And dislike unkind debate
You love freely
Hurt strongly
Understand pain
Smile widely
Stave of death defiantly
Cannot stand fate
You build deftly
Create freedom
And pave your own way
You create your own god
Fresh from your skin
You peel back the suffering
And come out ready to win
You take it all but give back just as plenty
You do unto others as you'd have done to you
But you don't need a good book to tell that to you
You feed your power from its source and then right back through
Untold energy of a cosmic being just like you
You'll live and you'll die and I'm sure I will too
So there may be nothing after
Organic death
But certainly there will be more people like me and you
And if nothing else thats enough to be happy for us
Be us not greedy
Or rude
Or full of spite
Be us not ruthless
And angry
And dish out our might
Be us peaceful
And hopeful
And shine out our light
We are all in some distant way
