The silver linings are thicker; wont break like book bindings
Movies became sweeter to all of my findings
Breathing is all the more tasteful and waking less tart
I can feel every last straining beat of my heart
As it threatens to tear straight out of my chest
From all of the love putting it to the test
So I'll hold out hope on all things perfected
Because the thing I fear most is being dejected
And what helps the world go down the mind smooth
Is finding someone like you to help wear down a groove
And become connected
And positively charge one another
Find the breaking point and hold it up with a lover
And if I'm to be honest
Im hoping it will always be her
So that there is no question; that I'm always sure
I can give it one-hundred
And show it my all
Dont let it defeat me
Or make me feel small
But tell me I can be one half of a whole
Burning on brightly; body of coal
That is always willing to love what is now, what could be and the way that things were
And maybe after all that she might catch a real glimpse of how much I care about her
