If you ever get attacked at school, then block twice before you attack. Make it clear, "Don't touch me."
If they charge at you again block and say it again louder. "I said don't touch me!"
If they still attack you, then retaliate.
The reason is that most people (like teachers) don't see the first strike. So, before getting feisty and attacking right after they try and attack you, block first.
Let's all be honest, it doesn't matter if you got attacked first. Teachers saw you attack your attacker first. They are not going to investigate soneghing like that unless some kid broke something.
