After that I went to the kitchen to grab some water. As I was filling up my water bottle I hear a car honking outside letting me know Xepher is here. I grabbed my bag and walked outside getting into her car. "Hey" she greeted. "Hi" I said happily. "How are you today Eli?" She asked kindly. "I'm okay just weirded out." I said cautiously. "Why?! What happened?!" She asked worriedly. "Nothing...I mean- it's just me and Jake made eye contact this morning and it was weird cause it wasn't like friendly eye contact it was like 'I kinda want to date you' eye contact. AND IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF TARA!!!" I yelled the last part. "WHAT?!?!" She asked. "Yeah and I'm super ashamed because-" I cut myself off. "BECAUSE?!?!" Xepher yelled. "Because I think- I think I like him...?" I said in an almost questioning voice. "Oh god, you like him?!?!" She said in a whispered yell. "Yes! Okay! I like him! And I know I shouldn't!" I said hiding my face in my hands. "Oh god what am I gonna do with you?" Xepher rhetorically asked.
