And, Japanese & German will refer to the languages spoken in Inazuma and Mondstadt (based off the common hc that regions speak the language said region is based off of)
Region hcs:
- Rock climbers from around Teyvat love visiting Liyue
- Liyue has the most festivals of all the nations
- Also famous for their operas and lion dancing
- Multiple of Sumeru and Liyue's festivals overlap so both nations have both multiple mixed festivals as a cultural exchange
- Liyue's port brings in the second biggest fish in the world, only behind Snehnaya
- Has both the lowest birth rate, so once they were the most populated nation but now Liyue is slowly being replaced by Sumeru (based on India becoming the 1st most populated country because of China's low birth rate)
- Adepti like Winter the most because it's harder for humans to get to them and they can stay warm in their adobes
- Liyue has the 2nd best Legal college (like lawyers, police, etc.) the first being Fontaine
- German is the hardest language for Liyueans to learn
- Equally, Japanese is the easiest language for Liyueans to learn
- If the ocean around Liyue wasn't so cold, it'd be a great place to swim
- On the flip side tho, they have awesome hot springs
- Liyue is also said to be one of the most haunted Nations so paranormal lovers love visiting, tho they can be assholes to the citizens sometimes🧍♂️

Character hcs:
- Zhongli is often asked to be a quest presentor in schools and colleges in both Liyue and Sumeru, he loves doing it
- Because there's a significantly less work to do in November as it's a sort of transition period, Ningguang forces both Keqing and Ganyu to have at least a 2 week long vacation. (They often times only do the minimum of 2 weeks)
- Xianling has been trying to get to Snehnaya for years but is denied access every time. She also has a planned trip to Inazuma for ingredient gathering/scouting since their borders opened up
- Beidou visits Liyue more often now that Inazuma's borders are open
- With Beidou visiting Liyue for longer and more often, Kazuha has had time to visit Sumeru and Mondstadt a bit (yes I know he's from Inazuma but he's still part of The Cruz so boom, loophole)
- Baizhu loves taking Qiqi herb gathering in the spring and summer
