CHAPTER NINE
It's been two weeks since I've met Patrick's mother and the relationship thing between me and Patrick has been going really well, like really well
Eventho he's been giving me signs that he wants to do more than kissing and making out. I think I'm ready for sex but I just don't want to disappoint him since I haven't done this before.
Yes, I'm a virgin.
There was a knock at my door and it dragged me out of my daydreams.
I couldn't remember that I was supposed to meet up with someone..
"Kevin!" I squealed and jumped in his arms. "Where the hell have you been?" I mumbled in his neck
"I'm sorry I didn't text you or call you, my mom is very sick and she told me by telephone the day we were going to meet up. I rushed out of my room and forgot my phone. And obviously I didn't know your phone number by head so I couldn't call you with someone else's phone either"
"Oh Kevin, i'm sorry" I said almost immediately. I kissed his cheek and led him inside, "come lie down" I said
He lied down on the bed and I crawled next to him. I rested my head on his shoulder and hugged him.
"What's wrong with your mother?"
"Cancer, she's terminal" he replied with a sigh
"Oh god.." I whispered hugging him tighter, "Baby, I'm so sorry" I said kissing his neck softly
"Yeah" he sighed again
"It's gonna be okay" I said
"I don't know, hopefully"

Kevin went back to his room and I was sad. Seeing my best friend like this broke my heart over and over again

I took a quick shower and changed into skinny jeans and a tight black shirt with a red/black flannel, socks and vans.
A few minutes a knock was at the door
"Hey" I whispered, Patrick kissing me on my cheek as he hugged me
"Hi" he said kissing my forehead as he let go. "What happened?"
"Kevin's mom has cancer, and she's terminal." I said, a tears rushing down my cheek
He cleared his throat and hugged me, "Sorry" he mumbled
I hugged him back, wrapping my legs around his waist.
He dropped me on my bed and kissed my neck sweetly, "Rest a bit" he whispered, stroking my wet hair back
"Okay" I mumbled in his chest
He sighed and spooned me.
