Alex is my best friend I would never keep anything from him, except 1 thing. but I have a legit reason for it, it's because the secret is that I like him. no one in our friend group knows because i'm scared they'll tell him. but today is Monday so I had to go to school. I put on my uniform and but 2 little braids in my hair with the rest of my hair down. and put on some jewelry, and some slight makeup then I was off.

as I pull up to the school I see one of my best friends Alicia.

"Alicia hey!" I smile at her

"hey girl!" she wraps her arms around my shoulders

"I absolutely hate Mondays, actually I hate everyday we go to school." I tell her

"omg don't even get me started I know!!" she laughs

"uh yea duh she's EXTRA" I say in a "obviously I know her" tone

"well apparently someone saw her and alex at an ice cream shop together!!"

"they could just be hanging out" I say trying not to seem jealous

"but that's not it they also seen one ice cream with 2 spoons!! and they were holding hands!! and apparently he kissed her on the cheek!! KISSED HER!" as she's talking she's getting louder

"oh well if Alex wants to be with her she can" I shrug feeling loads of jealously i'm sure Alicia can tell I'm jealous

"okay but why her he could have almost any girl he wants and he choose her literally nobody actually likes her" she states as its obvious

"well if you care so much ask him about it you forget were all in the same friend group" I say getting annoyed

"oh yea!" she laughs "are you okay though?" she asks
