ik that my last story you were playing in the rain but in this one you're scared of storms okay 😭
you, sam, kat and colby are all watching a movie on the couch. kats laying across sams legs and you're leaning up against colby's side. you're all laughing and having a good time.
eventually you hear dripping in the distance "do you guys hear that?"
"oh yeah it's raining!" sam says
all of a sudden thunder booms outside and it shakes the whole house
thunder was always something that triggered you. you don't know why but you always panic whenever it's raining.
you squeeze colby's arm and hide your face in his chest. "holy shit!" sam yells
colby's wraps his arm around you and pulls you in closer. "it's okay. it will probably pass soon" he kisses the top of your head and you start to calm down a bit cause you feel safe in colby's grip.
after a while thunder hits again but this time the power goes out. "AH COME ON!" the boys yell cause it shut off the movie. you immediately panic and roll into a ball. colby wraps his arms around you and kisses the top of your head
"god danggit" sam groans. "i'll go look for some flashlights" sam gets up from the couch and turns on his phone flashlight
colby's tries to get up to help sam but you won't let go of him. "y/n i'll be right back! stay here with kat" you let go of his arm and he helps sam get the flashlights
minutes later the boys come back with blankets and 2 flashlights. colby crawls back on the couch and he drapes the blanket over you as you cuddle into him again, you already feel calmer.
you try to take a nap to pass time. while the others are just talking about future videos and random stuff
time passes and you're in the state where you're not all the way asleep but you're not wide awake.
colby sees that you could be asleep but doesn't move cause he doesn't wanna wake you.
"is she asleep?" colby whispers to sam as he pulls some of your hair aside. you could make out what he said but you're seconds away from falling asleep. sam looks at you then nods to colby
"alright i'm gonna take her upstairs" he picks you up bridal style and starts walking up the stairs. "sam can you follow me with a flashlight?"
when colby gets to his room he closes the door with his foot behind him. he lays you down on his bed and tucks you in before getting in bed next to you.
2 hours later
out of no where you hear thunder rumble outside. you jolt awake and start looking around in panic.
you look over at colby asleep under the blankets. thunder rumbles again, you jump in fear but colby hasn't moved a muscle. he's the heaviest sleeper.
"colby?" you whisper and tap his shoulder
he doesn't answer
"colby!!" you whine
"colbyyyy" you lightly slap his back and he finally wakes up
"what?! what?! what happened?!"
"i- i'm scared"
he sits up with you and looks you in the eyes
"why? what's wrong?!" thunder claps once more and shakes the whole house. "holy shit!" colby yells
you immediately start to cry and hide your head under the pillows."hey it's okay!" he says calmly as he removes the pillow from your head.
he kisses the back of your head and starts to play with your hair. "it's only rain baby! it will pass soon"
you turn your body to face his and crawl on top of him, burying your face in his neck as you continue to cry.
he wraps his arms around you and starts rubbing your back. "it's okay baby. i'm right here" he pulls the blankets back over the two of you
he feels your tears drop on his skin. "hey don't cry babe! everythings okay i promise"
his voice starts calming you down a bit. he starts humming you a song to try to get you asleep. overtime, the rubbing motion he's doing on your back turns into little taps with his humming.
you can still hear the violent storm outside but you focus on his humming. you finally fall asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
