arianna's pov
all week meg has bugged me to tell chris i like him because her and matt are together and she did tell

matt she liked him the day he asked her to his girlfriend so technically i do have to tell chris i'm just

scared like literally terrified he's gonna say he doesn't like me like that but today however is the day that i'm

going to do it so i'm getting ready to go pick up chris because we're gonna go out to eat and then go to the

beach i think it's either the beach or golf i'm prepared for both, after i finish packing up my bag i grab my

cars and head out to my car before i leave i text chris to let him know that i'm on my way, i have never been so

nervous to see him in my life but i guess it's just because i know what i'm going to tell him today, have

i mentioned how scared i am if i didn't i'm so scared to tell him but the worst he can do is say he doesn't like

me back and then we hope it's not awkward after that, when i pull into their driveway i text chris that i'm

outside, he comes running out about 5 minutes after i texted him "hey anna where to first?" i start to pull

out of the driveway "uh food i'm starving but are we going to the beach or to play golf after we're done?"

i ask looking at him "the beach it's nice out today" i nod.

chris's pov
somethings off with anna she seems more nervous then usual for some reason, when we got to the food

place she was playing with her necklace and avoiding looking at me, when we get in the car later i'm gonna

ask her if somethings wrong "so what are you gonna get to eat?" i ask, she looks over the menu "i think i'm

gonna get a salad and will you share a small pizza with me?" i smile "yeah sounds good to me", we wait for

our waiter to come take our order and it's very silent i was about to say something when i hear the waiter

come up "hello i will be your server today can i take your drink orders first?" he's staring at anna, she looks

up "oh um i'll get an iced tea please" he nods "okay" he slowly turns to me "and for you", "i'll get a pepsi" he

nods "i'll be right back with your drinks and to take your food order" he smiles at anna before leaving i

turn to her "he's into you anna" she laughs "he is not" i scoff "please he couldn't keep his eyes off of you" she

looks at me and shakes her head "even if he is i'm into someone else so it wouldn't even matter" what? she

likes someone she hasn't said anything about that until now, i wonder who she likes, she likes another guy and

i'm gonna have to wait longer for her, i'm brought out of my thoughts by the waiter coming back over "here

are your drinks now what can we get started for you" we tell him our order and he walks off.

skip to when there getting the cheque*

still chris's pov
the waiter comes back with the cheque "here you are have a good day" i open it up and see his number

written on it and under it, it says "i think your really pretty you should call me sometime" i show anna and

she laughs "aww chris you have an admirer", i laugh "ha ha anna very funny" we leave the money and leave

when we get out to the car i look over at anna "so are you okay? you seem abit nervous today and your not

as talkative as you usually are" she looks down and takes a deep breath "okay so you know how i said i was

into someone?" i nod "mhm", "well i'm into you chris i like you and not just as a friend and it's okay if you don't feel the same way i just wanted to tell you but i

really really like you and the thought of telling you today made me very nervous but" i cut her off "slow down anna" i actually can't believe it i mean she likes

me and i feel like i've been waiting forever for her to say those words, in this moment i have nothing to say

all i can do is show her so i lean over and kiss her she smiles into the kiss "i like you too anna i really really

like you" we smile and kind've just sit in silence for a little while before she says something "what does this

mean for us?" i shake my head "i don't know but all i do know is that i really like you and i want you to be

my girlfriend but i want to ask you the right way so just you way arianna maxwell i'm gonna ask you very

very soon and your not gonna expect it" she laughs "come here" she pulls me in for another kiss, this is so

unreal for the longest time she was just my bestfriend but she deserves to be asked the right way a better way

then us outside of a restaurant where the waiter basically hit on her the whole time, but soon she will

officially be my girlfriend.
