Dear Ran

Dear Ran,

Life isn't always sunshines & rainbows.

The sun doesn't always shine every day. The rainbow doesn't come after every rain shower to brighten a child's day.

But, I've learned that life is full of hope. 

In my life, I've held onto a hopeless wish that would never come true; not even in my wildest dreams.

And that hopeless wish continues.

Even when today was the day I discovered I had stage 4 cancer.
