Dear Ran,

Remember the other day when you asked why I looked so sick and weak in bed.

And I told you it was because I had the flu.

But I was lying.

I didn't want to worry and burden you with my troubles when you were at your peak of your career. The debut for the pre-Olympics.

So, I just sat in the hospital bed, going through pictures from our childhood.
