"Caught between the rumbles"

"Have you killed before?I asked
"Yeah" She shrugged before asking
"Does it have anything to do with our current situation"
"Nah i believe you are strong"I inquired raising an eyebrow
"Enough i guess"
"Just hold on to the rope and lower me down slowly"I said climbing on the window and holding the makeshift rope with one hand

Expertly she lowered me down as soon as my legs reached him i twisted it tightly leaving the rope getting my knife out and digging it into his skull feeling his body fall limp
"Hey you g..."I just watched as a knife from above find its place into his chest ending his life at once.

I let go of the man and lowered myself to the ground his body hitting the ground with a soft thud.

I felt weight on the make shift rope looking up i saw Ciara coming down as well i shifted watching her as she landed.
"I am quite impressed" I say bending to pick my knife from his skull figuring out that i lodged it deep after trying i successfully got it out making his blood pour out from the hole i caused before searching him and taking his shot gun and the bullets with her doing the same with the other guy.
"You shoot"I ask curious
"I guess" She replied taking the knife out of his chest and wiping the blood before tucking in one of the many pockets of her pants
"Thanks" I hear her say
"Now what" She asked warily gazing her surrounding
"We run"I turn moving to the left with her trailing behind me. We got to a clearing that led to a forest

"Are we gonna enter that?" She asks
"Nahh we gonna wait here for those perverted fools to come get us"I scoff and start heading into the forest with Ciara right beside me.
I guess this is going to be a long day

"I can hear music i think we reached a bar" Ciara squeaked holding my hand and tugging me to the source of the music
"A bar in the middle of nowhere... smart of you to think that" I pulled my hand out of hers and increased my pace towards the noise

We arrive at a huge building with the sign
The Don's Palace
I sigh lowly partially relieved that we found a place to stay for the night
"Let's go in" She said walking in front of me
"Have you not even wondered what a hotel would be doing in the middle of nowhere"I grab her pulling her back
"At least we have a place to stay for the night i am tired if you are not"She rudely concluded and started walking to the hotel
Christ
I walked to meet her glancing her way to see a small smile on her face.We walked to the door pulling it open and entering right after tucking our guns to safety.

I took in the extravagant interior and it's dim light wondering what this hotel is doing here and who it is for.
"Let's go to the receptionist and ask for how much a room is for a night" She gestured to the desk and i followed behind looking round and seeing nobody in the halls. A wave of fear washed over me making me shiver
"HEYYYY what's wrong with you" I hear Ciara shout waving her hand in front of my face.
"I zoned out i guess"
"Well i think you should talk to her yourself cause she is speaking weirdly" She said looking at me and pointing behind her.

Nodding i move her aside as i face the receptionist
"Soooo"I trailed bringing out my gun and placing it facing her chest she flinched but regained herself quickly looking up at me with a sly smile on her face

"I guess you are not from here and obviously not one of us"She chuckled ignoring me and continuing what she was doing
"Explain or you take a bullet in your head" I said smirking
"I don't think i want to and yeah feel free to lend me a bullet i can assure you it won't hurt"She replied making the smirk fall from my face

Her phone rang making me flinch at the loud noise. She answered it her eyes fixated on me
"Two girls?She asked shifting her gaze to behind me
"Blond and Red,.....Yes here now.... colour of eyes....,Mixed and Blue...i think the are present... right sir..."
Right Shit
I mentally cursed as i turned grabbing Ciara and speeding off
"You wouldn't get far you know"The receptionist shouted making me increase my pace
"Wha..t happened"She asked inbetween breaths
"They caught us" I replied letting her go as she ran beside me
"If we are gonna die here at least tell me your name"She tucked her hand inside her pockets bringing out her gun and cocking it
"Golden"I replied doing the same
"Nice name you know"

We increased our pace and i could admit on the spot that she could run. I was sure that anybody that saw us running would conclude that we were running for our lives
Well i mean aren't we
The bomb finally exploded and we took that as an assurance that we should slow down...

"Actually i am tired of running" Ciara said sitting on the log behind her.I nod agreeing to what she said as my eyes scanned the environment
"Movements"I tell her freezing as i listened closely
"Shit Lord Sin is going to kill us if we don't get her i keep on wondering how she escaped"
The fluffing fuck
I signalled to her as she slowly stood up and we looked over to see over a dozen men walking while looking around. Ciara smiled while positioning her self before whispering
"Lets finish them off"
"And i guess we think alike"I reply setting in an alike position
She fired the first shot making me smile as i noticed she got the target.
The rain of bullet and the smell of gun powder filled the air as the men were too surprised and possibly not well trained.
"We can get the rest from the other angle" Ciara said bending as she filled her gun with bullets
"Nah i suggest we run at this point they are larger than us we need to get properly covered" I suggest and start heading deeper into the forest with Ciara right behind me
"Well lets run then i can hear footsteps" Ciara said making us increase our pace
"I must admit Ciara you are the best so far i mean you and i are so alike"I start as we turn
"Why are you saying this now" She asked with a hint of humour in her voice
"Cause we might get separated or worse we might die"I tell her meaning it
"Nah it ain....." Ciara starts and stops as i watch a needle stick it self into her arm.She falls on the ground turning to look at me with a slight smile on her face
"I guess you were right i'll miss you Golden" She uttered before slumping to the ground.

Rage course through my entire body as i take her gun and running into the direction the syringe came from to meet men setting their guns ready for fire.None of the men saw me making me thank my God and climbing the closest tree.

I position the guns one on the man with the machine for the syringe and one for the biggest guy.

I fire not pausing till half of them were dead. Seeing the men still in shock i fill my guns before firing the second round.

Suddenly i felt a sharp pain on my leg as i look down to see a bullet lodged in my leg i look up seeing the man and bursting his brains right after.

I feel another sharp sting on my arm looking there and seeing s syringe in my arm i pull it out turning to unleash the rain of bullets.

Slowly the drugs already in my system starts taking its effect making me feel dizzy

I look down seeing that every man present had no life anymore making me close my eyes and succumb to the drugs.
