"I don't get why you wont come with us Cor. This is a great opportunity and I want my favorite cousin with me." Poppy says whining into my shoulder. We're lying on her bed in our pajamas having leftover pasta from last night.
"This is a great opportunity for you." I say to her emphasizing 'you' as I take another bite of my pasta.
"I'm just gonna miss you so much." Poppy says hugging my shoulder making me chuckle and nudge her.
"You will be fine, its just a few days and you have Summer and Bohds with you." I say, trying to get her to see the bright side.
"Ugh yeah I guess. How long do you think it will take Summer to start drama?"
"Give it a couple hours." I say and we giggle about it.
The Sub Tropix car arrives and Poppy gets in all excitedly, but not before giving us all hugs and promising to send lots of pictures.
Once the car leaves I decide to have an 'everything' shower and change into my bikini and over some clothes.

Once I finish getting ready I make my way downstairs and see nobody is home. I quickly send Manu a text and make my way outside. I decide to go to the surf shop Bohdi told me about which is a 20 minute walk from the house.
