I rolled over and felt a tiny body in my bed. I looked over and saw my niece. I smiled and got out of bed quietly and went to the bathroom that was attached to my room.
I did my business and got into the shower. "Hey Beth, I'm going to the grocery store. I'll be back.'' My sister said.
"Okay.'' I said as I just finished washing my hair. I soon finished my shower and saw that my niece and nephews are in my room.
''Can we watch a movie Aunt Beth?" Lydia asked me.
''Of course sweet girl. Have you guys had breakfast yet?" I asked as I sat down on my bed.
She nodded. "Yeah, mommy fed us before she left.''
I nodded. "I'm going to go downstairs to grab me something, then we can watch a movie okay.''
I went downstairs and made myself some oatmeal and headed back upstairs.
*noon*
''I want to go swimming!" Dylan yelled.
''Dylan stop yelling.'' Liv said as she was making sandwiches.
I laughed. "Sound like someone?" I asked her.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Yes I know he's just like me. You don't have to rub it in.''
''Let's going swimming Dyl. I'll go in with you.'' I said as we both walked out the backdoor.
''Cannonball.'' He said as he jumped in. I laughed at him as my phone rang.
"I'll be in Dyl, just got to take this phone call.'' He smiled and swam around.
''Hello.'' I said as I sat down in the lounge chair.
''Hi, is this Elizabeth Marks?" Some lady asked.
"Yes this is she.''
''Hi, this is Raine from Montana INC, how are you?"
''I'm good. How are you?"
''Doing great. Mr. Montana loved your interview so much that he has decided to hire you.''
My mouth dropped. Oh my god!! "That's great news to hear.''
''He asked if you can start tomorrow.?"
I smiled. "Tomorrow works great. I'll see you guys then.''
''Alright, I'll let him know and we'll see you tomorrow Ms. Marks.''
''Thank you so much, bye.''
"Bye.''
I hung up the phone and screamed. ''You okay Aunt Beth?" Dylan asked.
''Yes I'm okay sweetie. Aunt Beth just got a really good job.''
''Well that's exciting but come swim with me.'' He said laughing.
I laughed and took off my shirt and got into the pool. I can't believe things are finally turning out for me.
