Heather landed near the healers quarters where the Berkians were.
"Are there any buffalords left?" Snotlout asked urgently as she walked through the doors. "Yes. I'll explain everything later right now I need to get Astrid there."
She lifted her up, "c'mon Astrid, I know you still have a little fight left in you," and proceeded to take her outside. "Stormfly!" The called nadder landed in front of them, helping Heather to get Astrid on her back. "Will my daughter be ok?"
"She'll be fine. We'll be back, I promise." She flew off, Stormfly and her rider laying on her back following.
<•••>
Hiccup looked up to the sky seeing two dragon figures, Stormfly and windshear. "Thank god." He muttered under his breath.Stormfly landed in front of the man, as Astrid slid off who was caught by Hiccup, and he laid her on a boulder nearby. "Stay a little longer Astrid, for me. I can't imagine a world without you in it."
He sighed and walked over to the yak like dragon, Heather standing by her side. He took saliva from the dragon once again as it ate away, and fed it to Astrid.
She moved a little but nothing else, "it not working."
"Maybe it just takes long." Heather suggested, "no, something's wrong."
Camilla was eating some of the herbs on the island, earning flares from the others. "Really cami? Eating at a time like this?"
"Chill Heather. People deal with stress differently."
Hiccup watched her, more like the green juice around her mouth from the herbs.
"Ugh." Valka groaned. "All these thing says is green saliva, green saliva."
"The buffalord saliva is clear." Hiccup looked back at Camilla. "It's the herbs! It's what the buffalord eats that makes its saliva green.
Heather smiled and lead the dragon into eating the herbs, to which it did. Only thing it's been doing anyway.
As Hiccup approached the dragon so carefully, a net came out of no where and he had to jump back to not be caught in it. "What?"
He stood up and looked at who shot the net. "Ryker?"
<•••>
"Didn't we kill you? Well, didn't the submaripper kill you?" Cami asked in complete shock."Hahaha, no! I made it out alive! Spent the last year rebuilding my troupe, to come and finish you off Hiccup."
Hiccup jaw was practically on the floor. "How did you find this island?" He growled. "The dragon eye you made Haddock, don't think it fell into the ocean and disappeared that day, I caught it." Hiccup eyes shifted back to Astrid and she moaned.
Without even a signal, toothless was ready to shoot a plasma blast, wanting to actually kill Ryker this time, but he put his blade above the dragons head making the NightFury stop.
"One move and the dragon is gone, you wouldn't be able to save you little friend." He smirked. "This dragon is extremely rare, would earn me a lot."
The rider saw no way out of this. "Fine, fine. Take the dragon. But leave us what we came here for." "No, Hiccup don't, not for me." Astrid was able to let out, to which Hiccup obviously ignored.
"Very well." He lowered his sword, allowing Hiccup to get the saliva.
Once he was done, he gave it to Astrid, but this time, it actually worked. "It's working." Hiccup sighed in relief. Her skin returned back to normal and she was able to walk on her two legs again.
"We'll continue this battle Hiccup Haddock!" Ryker shouted, going back to his ship with his men dragging the dragon.
"We can still go after him." Camilla suggested but was stopped by Hiccup. "No. We have what we came for." He smiled at Astrid, who was being squeezed in a hug by Heather.
Sadly for Ryker, the dragon destroyed the ship, and went back to eat, once again.
"So Astrid..." Heather started, "how exactly did you get the scourge?"
"Drago accidentally cut me with his dagger, when you guys were fighting him, I'm now doubting that it was an accident."
"That dagger must have had blood of someone who had the scourge." Hiccup pointed out, "well, I'm fine now. Same as the buffalord."
<•••>
They all landed back on their island when the moon was shining bright in the sky. Astrid was ok and that's what mattered."Astrid." Her parents hugged her and filled her with questions.
"She looks much better." Viggo commented, "yeah. But we have another problem." Hiccup replied, earning all the attention of everyone there.
"Viggo-how do I say this-, Ryker, is, alive."
The man's eyes widened. "How?"
"He said he escaped, and has the other dragon eye...."
"Who's, Ryker?" Snotlout asked.
"My brother, unfortunately."
