Cu Chulainn was a legendary hero from Irish mythology, known for his incredible strength, bravery, and ferocity in battle. His birth name was Setanta, but he earned the name Cu Chulainn, meaning "Culann's Hound." After accidentally killing the watchdog of a blacksmith named Culann, and wanting to make amends, Cu vowed to guard Culann's home until a replacement hound could be trained.

Raised as a warrior, Cu learned various martial arts and acquired formidable combat skills. He possessed the "warp-spasm," a berserk rage that granted him extraordinary strength. Despite his many heroic deeds, Cu Chulainn's life was marked by tragedy. He met an untimely death in battle, fulfilling prophecies that foretold his heroic but short-lived existence. His story is a central part of Irish mythology.
