Jasmine wakes up early, to get ready for her first day at the dojo.
She nervous, she never really cared for that kind of thing.
However it ment she was spending time with her new friend, so she didn't mind so much.
She wear leggings and white top. Leggings will probably be the easiest to do karate stuff in, no way she could do what Johnny did with somthing like jeans on.
The white top was pretty basic but she didn't really care for the top so she didn't mind it getting dirty just in case.
She gets ready to leave for the address miguel had sent her.
"Where you going" her mother asks as Jasmine grabs her bag on the kitchen counter
"I told you, to a dojo to learn karate" Jasmine said
"So you're just gonna do things without even asking me? Just assuming I'll be okay with it?" Her mother retorted
"You'll be too busy snorting drugs to give a fuck anways" Jasmine clapped back
"Don't you talk to me like that!" Her mother yelled
"Than stop playing parenting at random. You wanna be one fine, but you don't get to pick and choose random days. Either do it all time or none at all!" Jasmine yelled back
Jasmine mom just stooded there stunned at her daughter's word.
"Fine. Whatever, break you head open. See if I care" her mother says tearing up
"You never really do, Claire." Jasmine says turning around and leaving.
The fight with her mom had her totally forgetting where she was going in the first place.
"Jasmine! Hey! Come on! Let's go" Miguel yelled from Johnny's car
Jasmine took a breath and got into basically a strangers car. Definitely not dangerous at all.
She sat in the back looking out the window as Johnny and miguel talked about God knows what.
We arrived there in minutes and got out of the car one by one. She remained as silent as before, not huffing a word since the fight with her mother.
Johnny goes in the dojo and they follow from a distant behind.
"Are you okay?" Miguel asks her as they line up next to eachother on the mat, waiting for johnny to give instructions.
Jasmine gives him a nod and looks back at Johnny
"Soo do we get karate pajamas too?" Miguel asks
"QUIET" Johnny yelled
"Student will not speak unless spoken too, understood?" He asked us
"Yes?" We spoke
Johnny looked at us, wanting more
"Uh.. yes sir?" Miguel asked
"You'll always address me as sensi, is that understood?"
"Oh, yes sensi" Jasmine said
"These aren't pajamas, this is a gi. And you'll get one when you have earned one" sensi Lawrence told miguel
"Alright you ready to begin your training?" Sensi asked
"Yes sensi" we said together
Johnny than completely took miguel to the floor causing miguel to groan in pain.
"Lesson one: always strike first" he says getting up
"Do you wanna go next?" He asks Jasmine
"Uh not really sensi" Jasmine responds looking at miguel
Sensi Lawrence than does the same thing to Jasmine, who attempts to hit him but was blocked and was now on the floor.
"The world will not stop, just cause you ask. You have to strike first, and strike hard." Sensi says while Jasmine and miguel attempt to get up
"Could've gave us a warning or somthing" miguel groans
"We're not trained to be merciful here, mercy is for the weak" he spit out, circling around us
"Here in the world, if I a man confronts you, he is the enemy, and the enemy deserves no mercy"
"Whats is the problem, diaz?" Johnny says stopping infront of miguel
"Well you punched me in stomach and I have asthma-" miguel explains
Sensi than takes the inhaler and throws it against the wall
"Not anymore you dont"
Miguel and Jasmine share a look of confusion.
"We don't need weakness in this dojo, so you can leave your peanut allergy and asthma and all other made out bullshit out of this dojo"
"Yes but those are real medical problems- I was-" miguel attempt to agure but stops
"Yes sensi, understood"
"Cobra kai isn't just about karate, it's about a way of life"
"Take that first lesson, striking first is the first initial step to victory"
"Can't he do that and have asthma?" Jasmime spoke
"QUIET"
Jasmine jumped a little, so loud for no reason. Ain't even that serious
"OK so when you're at a party and you see a hot babe" Johnny says turning back to miguel
Miguel nods
"You aren't gonna wait for another guy to take her, are you?"
"Well I've never been to a party so.." miguel said awkwardly
"Big suprize. All right look, striking first is all about being aggressive. And if you aren't aggressive than you're being a pussy, and you want to be a pussy, you want to have balls"
Jasmine looked at miguel and than back at Johnny.
"Damn, well I think I may find it hard to grow those, sensi" Jasmine jokes
"Don't you think you're doing alot of generalizing?" Miguel asks him, bring Johnny attention back to him
"What?" Johnny asks
Oh I'm sorry,Don't you think you're doing alot of generalizing, sensi?" Miguel asks
"No, I mean what the hell are you talking about?"
"Oh well, my guidance counselor says that-"
"QUIET"
Miguel and Jasmine jump a little.
"You will not listen to you counselor, you'll listen to me, is that understood?"
"Uh yes sensi" they both say
"Now both of you, stop yapping like a little girl and give me 50 push ups on your knuckles"
"And no girl pushups" Johnny says pointing at jasmine
"I wasn't gonna?" Jasmine sashes
"What?"
"My fault, yes sensni" Jasmine huffs
Jasmime starts to the push-ups but miguel starts to struggle.
"Ok, diaz you do cruches or somthing, don't you have gym class?"
"Yeah ok" miguel says as he starts doing crunches
