I woke up the next morning feeling too good. Liyah was still sleep in my arms and for a while, all I wanted to do was look at her. She was perfect. Her hair was up into a ponytail/bun, face clear of makeup, lips kissable. Just perfect. I kissed her and she stirred, but didn't wake. I picked up my phone and started going through the messages. There was one from Locke and two from Rod. I looked at his name and scoffed.

How my homeboy get with my ex? I wasn't feeling him right then. I responded to all the messages and put my phone back on the table. Just then Lee woke up.

D: Hey beautiful

A: Hey handsome (kisses him) What's up?

D: Nothing much. Was waiting on you to get up. You hungry?

A: (smiles) You know I am

D: (smacks her butt) Come on then, let's go

We got up and went and freshened up in the bathroom. We then made our way to the kitchen. When we got in there I went to the fridge and started pulling out things to make breakfast with. Lee ended up making the pancakes and bacon while I made the omelettes and fruit salad. We talked while we ate.

D: So what does your week look like?

A: Nothing too much. I finally agreed to get back in the studio with Tim and Miss

A: (laughs) Yeah, they were pestering me. But for now it's just as a feature on Missy's new album

D: Damn, that's bout to be hot. She said something to me about doing a feature too

A: What does yours look like?

D: Well, I'm pretty much free from work

A: Hmmm, well. I want to go to the fair

D: (laughs) You must have been reading my mind. I want to go too

A: Let's do it then!

D: In fact, we can go today and just find other things to do during the week

A: You really want to spend your whole week with me?

D: Of course. There isn't another way I'd love to spend it than with my girlfriend

We got dressed and took the Mercedes to the fair. Kidada and Rashad were meeting us there. We parked and held hands all the way to the entrance. When we got close, I could feel Lee tense up. I knew she was thinking about paparazzi and that was half the reason why we weren't holding hands and all hugged up on each other. But lord knows I wanted to be. I looked at her.

D: Are you okay?

A: (takes a deep breath) Yes, I'm fine

D: We can go if you-

A: No, no. I'm, okay. Just nerves. I'm fine

I took her word for it. Shad and Dada walked up and we went inside. As expected, people went crazy but we had my bodyguard with us so we were good. We signed a couple of autographs before getting on some rides. We had a blast. I even won Liyah a bear! But as expected, camera lights did start flashing.

Pap: When is the video for your single coming out?

My bodyguard began to push the way through the crowd. We went over and got some food before headed back to the cars. We all decided to head back to my place. I looked over at Aaliyah.
