2:Another Day ,Another Fight

It was late in the morning and I was sitting on my chair, i glanced at my phone screen which showed 7:30 ,school starts at 8:10.

I sighed in boredom as my head rested on the palm of my hand i tilted my head to stare outside the window at the far off sea and a half awake city

Why did mum send me off so early????
I laid my head on the table with my hands as my pillow i turned my head away from the window and saw an empty desk and chair.

why is it always empty?
Does it belong to no one?
Why does no body sit there??

I was too focused on the empty seat that i didn't even notice Blake enter the class ,he saw me sleeping on the desk ,not ACTUALLY sleeping but...Yeah.
He hopped into my sight and bent forward ,facing me he said "Wakey,Wakey,Eggs and Bakey"

"Blake!!!!" i exclaimed smiling
A company at last!!!!! I thought

We started talking about various things. Blake told me how he bumped into a pole as he watched a cute puppy waddle across the zebra cross with its owner which threw me into fits of giggles.We were both laughing when he suddenly paused and stared at something behind me i turned in my chair in confusion but then my jaw dropped too

I saw a boy with pale flamingo pink hair sit on the empty seat beside me!!!
I leaned in and wispered "isn't that seat forbidden or something??"
"No! Who told you that??"
"Just my estimation" i said shrugging

"Newbie? I see" He said and l turned my head towards him ,I could see him properly.

He was different from all others. He was bewitching, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance which would have girls swooing over him. He was fair, almost pale white. His cobalt blue eyes matched exceptionally with his light toned skin, and his adams apple stuck out of his neck, his hairs swayed as an air blew through the open window
"Welcome to the school!" he said smiling at me

"Hey!" Blake said half shouting
I snapped my head towards him and said "Whats wrong??"
He sat back down calmly and said "She should be the one saying that"

What???? Why??? How???
How can he be like this???
How does he change so quick???

He gave a low laugh and said "I was out for a trip"
"Yeah? Not suprised" Blake said in a funny tone

The classes started and it ment it was time for me and Eugene to do that awkward run as we changed classes and were late for each one of them.

Lunch break ,It was the only favorite part of the day but not Today, cauz Eugene said it was the "stinky veggies day"
And yeah i totally understand why she said that
"Do they take us for cows??" i asked as i looked down at a plate full of veggies.
I and Eugene looked at each other dumped our plates in the "plates-bin" as we named it so and made a run for the school snack-shop
We bought chips ,softy as a desert and chocolate milk.

As we sat in class chattering and eating our chips, but soon a murmur arose in the class which contained me,Eugene and two small groups at each corner of the class.

We looked around to see a group of 7 with both boys and girls walking toward us.
A blondie came up to us leaned on my desk and asked which family i belonged to
"Desmiz,Ivy Desmiz" i replyed coldly
"Well,Desmiz is a powerful family WITH powers,Are you a fake?"
He asked with a leer on his face and his minions snickered.
"Whats yours?" i asked pretending to be embarassed and hurt.
"Elrod,Asher Elrod" He said with a smug look on his face, tilting his head proudly a little upwards
"It's always the loaded with the most lap dogs" i thought to myself

"Well then.." my chair creaked behind me as i stood up to face him.
"Elrod's are supposedly smart and quick-witted.What went wrong with the genes in the middle?"
I scanned him up and down and smirked at him as it was my turn.

He opned his mouth to speak up but then couldn't say a word as i made him shut it, and said glancing at the window "Well, Elrod's are also bastards"
Then i sarcastically turned to him and said "Looks like you're not a complete disappointment afterall!".

I walked out of the class leaving him red as a tomato,i walked away as if i won a battle ,leaving him defeated.

I entered the library and saw a bunch of book worms invested in their books.
"Peace ,at last!!" i said to Eugene
"I know rig-
"Shhhhhhh!!!!!!" Popped up the Librarian from behind a shelf pressing her finger against her lips,We nodded in response,and she disappeared again.

Eugene found a novel of her choice and sat on one of the unoccupied seats and gestured that she'd catch a seat for me,i nodded and set out for mission "intresting book"

I looked through shelfs of books and scanned them just to realise the books were organized author wise ,Genere wise and subject wise.
"Meh" i expressed as i saw a book named 'History of the Lycanthropes' and skipped four full shelves as i saw the names 'Science' 'Math' or anything else related to studying

I finally found a book that caught my interest 'Commanding the Dead'

I reached for it as it was high up and even had to stand on my toes to reach for it, just as i was about to take it out my hand touched someone else's and we both paused ,I glanced to see who it was and wobbled backwards as my eyes widened
It was pink haired guy!!!!

I balanced myself to avoid falling or someone HELPED me balance myself as i felt a hand on my back ,it was Elijah he walked through a book shelf before i could fall on a shelf ,which whould fall on another shelf,which would make many other shelves fall. Meanwhile the pink haired guy had his hands spread out in order to catch me

We both paused as if time stopped and stared at each other blankly ,he cleared his throat which snapped me back to reality
"We meet again!" he said grinning
"Yeah!" i said smiling too
"I'm Ethan btw" he said extending his hand
"Ivy" i said shaking it
"I'II be taking this" Said Elijah stepping in between us and grabbing the book 'Commanding the Dead' and making a run for it, before me or Ethan could grab him.
