In Vohra House, two girls, Kritika (12), and Vritika (7), were watching Kuch kuch hota hai for the umpteenth time. They were lying on their stomachs on the bed.
Kritika:
Vritika:
Matu (Grandmother)Their grandmother, Mrs. Ambika Vohra, whom they referred to as Matu (derived from Mata), entered with a snack tray, exhaled, and placed herself on the sofa beside the bed: Pakk gayi hun main tum dono ko ye movie dekhte huye dekhte dekhte, aise movies dekhne se baat banti toh kya baat thi. Aise Mummy thodi na dhoondhi jaati hai.
Kritika, the elder one, turned over on the bed and looked upwards: Hmm, Matu ye movies mein sab itna asaan kyun hota hai.
Matu: Kyunki movies mein sab director ke haath mein hota hai aur jeevan mein Bhagwan ji ke. Ab movie mein toh by chance Anjali sharma ki shaadi huyi nahi thi per asal jeevan hota toh pakka ho chuki hoti. Kritika chuckled: True Matu.
Vritika hugged her grandmother: Matu, I miss my mummy.
Kritika giggled: Tum unhe kaise miss kar sakti ho, tumne toh Mummy ko dekha bhi nahi hai.
Vritika pointed towards the movie: Arrey Kritu di. I miss ye wali Mummy. Jo mil nahi rahi hai.
Matu hugged her: Mera bacha, jo hai hi nahi usse kaise miss kar sakti hai, humari baby.
