You guys were walking to your favorite spot. It was valentines day and so far, it's been amazing. You and Cal have been best friends since kindergarten. When everything was happening and he thought he was going to die, he confessed to you. But that was a year ago, when you found out he survived you were thrilled.
Anyways, you guys got ice cream and now you're walking to the park. Once you got there you both sat on a bench talking and laughing. Talking about anything and everything
Hours passed and Cal got an idea. He wanted to play hide-and-seek. Of course, you agreed. You hid behind a tree thinking he would find you. Minutes passed and you thought he had giving up so you looked behind the tree to try to spot him.
You didn't see him anywhere so you turned back around, your back on the tree and then Cal appeared out of nowhere, startling you. He laughed and tackled you to the ground, both of you now laughing.
You couldn't have been happier. He was truly your lover.
