Barbie's POV

Apparently my guess was quite accurate.

Knowing that Laura Stern didn't care about her daughter and her father wasn't available right now, we were the only ones could help Jemma recover.

Currently, Jemma was in our hotel room....still unconscious in bed, the doctor discharged her early...saying that it was better if she would rest...and eat properly....without throwing it up.

"What are we going to do with her?" Stella asked as I continued to pace in the room.

"Duh...we are going to help her," Patricia replied firmly and then she got up from her chair, "For God's sake! She has bulimia. We can't leave her like this."

I sighed. There she said it.
The moment I spotted the two boxes of pizza and two bags of chips, I knew that she was bulimic.

And the doctor confirmed my suspicions.
I'm not really surprised. With a mother like that....Pressuring her to lose weight....it was something that was bound to happen at some point.

"Besides....she can give us the information we need."
I turned around and faced Cassandra's deadpan facial expression and raised an eyebrow.

She shrugged and didn't say anything else.
I sighed and cleared my throat.
"Well....yeah....that, too," I added awkwardly.

I glanced at Patricia. I knew that the Patricia's goal wasn't just winning the competition for Nikki anymore. She wanted to help Jemma.

Given her past, that's quite understandable.

"For now, we can't overwhelm her too much," Ken stated before he wrapped an arm around my waist, "We need to gain her trust, or else she won't tell us anything."

So we all left the bedroom in which Jemma was resting.
Renee and Daisy were eating lunch in the kitchen....and as usual it was pizza.
Sarah, Stella and Teresa were watching TV....while gossiping about....whatever.

I sat down on the sofa beside Teresa.
"Whatcha guys watching?" I asked.
"Spy movie," Sarah replied as she continued to chew on her popcorn.

"How is it?" I asked as I stole some popcorn from Stella.
Stella glared at me for a moment but didn't protest. "It sucks! What kind of evil mastermind would build an entire base in some abandoned island?!"

Teresa chuckled and nodded. "Very true. Building a base or a headquarters in an abandoned island isn't the smartest move," Teresa pointed out, "It's a waste of money for the bad guys. It raises suspicions and if by any chance they get traced by the law enforcement agents, it's game over. They'll be surrounded and they'll have nowhere to go."

I couldn't help but chuckle. Of course the spy movies aren't entirely based on truth. Most of them are overdramatized for the sake of making more money.

"And what kind of idiot goes to a mission...to an abandoned island for a rescue mission without backup?" Sarah huffed, "As horrible as these minions are at shooting, without any backup...even the most skilled agent wouldn't last longer than two minutes before being blown up to pieces."

I couldn't help but laugh.
They are really taking these movies way too seriously. They're not even supposed to be that accurate.

"They're literally bunch of fictional movies," Cassandra stated, "The accuracy isn't really the point. The point is to entertain the viewers and to get more ratings. The more ratings it gets the more cash they'll get."

As they were talking about the topic of the spy movies, movie companies and whatnot, I noticed someone wasn't there with us.

"Did you guys see Nikki?" I asked before I stood up.
Everyone else stopped what they were doing and stared at me.
"She's in her bedroom....working on the dresses for tomorrow," Daisy replied.
