Y/N woke up when the sun filtered through the silk of her canopy
She rubbed her eyes and threw her arm over her eyes not wanting to get out of bed just yet
She reluctantly pulled herself upright and yawned scratching her head and stretching her back
"Ugh..." she threw her legs over the bedside and pulled her slippers on walking over to her en suite bathroom to wash up. When she got out of the bath and dried off she picked her outfit for the day which was a comfortable dress and white flats

She walked over to her office where she saw Serena waiting for her in a chair by Y/N's desk
"Oh..didn't expect to see you here this morning"
Serena perked up at Y/N's words "Yes, well I wanted to speak to you"
"About?" Y/N began sorting the documents that Raul probably had left on her desk
"Well, Eiser came to my room whist Frederick was patching up my wound and went on this tangent about training me!"
Y/N unnoticeably flinched "she's more miffed than I thought she would be"
"Did you accept?" She inquired pretending to know nothing
Serena sighed "I did...I needed a way to protect Serenity and you...I can't loose anymore of my family"
Y/N looked up at her words "Well you seem quite determined"
"Of course I am! And on that note I would like you to help me"
"With?" Y/N scratched her temple slightly
"Just getting used to working more...since I only used to read the documents that you had passed over.."
"Sure. And keep in mind that you will be doing more of my work which means less for me!"
"I'll be doing your work?"
"Some of it yeah...since the documents that I have here" she gestured to the table "I screen through before passing them over to Eiser"
"I see...."
"Which means you will have to interact with him"
Serena furrowed her eyebrows in distaste
"Listen" Y/N put her elbows on the table "you're gonna have to talk to him at one point whether you like it or not"
Serena sighed "I know...I just don't like it"
"Well you don't have to talk to him now so don't worry about it..."
Serena stood up "I'm going on a picnic today with Frederick...do you want to join?"
