"Natia Dali? He's a poet...a famous one at that" Serena said as she was handed the suicide report
"That's right, he stayed in one of out suites for 28 days" Manager Logan replied. "For the last week, he hadn't left his room and refused all meals and housekeeping services. We didn't disturb him because he said he wanted to focus on writing poems but he hadn't been answering our calls so we went to do a safety check on him. He had hung himself with a tie and left a suicide note along with some of his belongings"
"May I see the note?" Y/N spoke up and Manager Logan handed it to her and Serena read over her sisters shoulder
"It's not a common occurrence but there are always people who take their lives in hotels. I had hoped that this wouldn't be the case but..."
"This note is mainly about how he misses his homeland, the feeling of loneliness, and the torment as a writer...was he feeling melancholic?" Y/N thought
"I certantly feel bad for the deceased but I can't help but feel that it's also selfish of him. This causes so much damage to the hotel" Logan sighed. "And the staff who found him at the scene are also in shock. We'll do our best to keep the word from getting out but it will surely harm the reputation of the hotel. And on top of that his balance hasn't been settled yet. He left everything he had which only makes up about 30% of the bill. As you know he was a famous poet in the kingdom but he wasn't doing it for the money."
"Please contact his family first." Serena instructed, "he must have a home or a family right? He did express his thoughts about his homeland which makes me think that he's from outside the kingdom."
"Understood I will look into that" Logan replied
"Yes, until then please clean up the suite and give the staff who found the body some time off since they were in shock" Serena added on
"Oh and please make sure the police leave as soon as possible" Y/N said, "a lengthy investigation should be unnecessary since this isn't a murder and we don't want the other guests to feel uncomfortable" Y/N said as she handed back the suicide note telling him to keep the note safe
"Yes, Lady Y/N. I'll try my best to contain the rumors and we'll try to keep things quiet"
"Alright. Let me know when you can get in touch with the family? We'll discuss further measures from there" Serena said
