Retinal Vision: Chapter 1

The transparent lift opens for three people. Then one of them said, "Aaaahh, I thought we would never be here again." Viqar replied, "Shafi, remember that as long as humans are there, crime will always be there, because humans will always find a way to commit a crime.".
Rumaisa said, "Indeed, Viqar indeed." And then a new person enters the room by exclaiming, "Hi guys, I am really a big fan of yours. You guys have no idea how much I look up to you guys." Viqar shouted, "Hey Rumaisa, come here; where are you?". So then the commissioner came and said, "Yeah, I never thought to meet you again, Viqar." He then told me, so I guess you guys know why you all are here. Shafi said yes, I heard that there is a new criminal who is literally hacking the retinal vision. Rumaisa exclaimed, "Wasn't that the impossible thing to hack according to the world of cybercrime?".Sameed and Viqar said together, "Nothing is impossible when it is created by humans." Viqar was shocked that he could say the same words as mine. Rumaisa said, "Hey, look, I know you are a big fan and even read all of our cases, but I don't remember that in the case files.There are these dialogues of Viqar." Sameed replied, "That's what my specialty is. I can understand the thinking of a person and his mindset, by just knowing his actions and as I read all the cases, I know about all of your thinking." Shafi exclaimed, "Oh wow, you are just great, bro. I should be aware of you." The sameed replied, "Aree sir, please, I always look up to you guys so I will not do anything wrong." The commissioner said, "I want you guys to follow.me. Then they entered a room with all the great leaders of the country and all United Nations leaders. So the commissioner told let me introduce you to one of the greatest officers of our country. He then started to introduce everyone,"First, this is Syed.Sameed, and he is a genius; he specialized inbrain learning, and with this ability, we can evenknow what the criminal will do. SecondlyRumaisa Sania specializes in hacking.and in cybercrime, I doubt that there isAnyone in this country as talented as her in this field. This is Shafi Mustafa, and he is a strong army man who can beat mostly anyone in 1v1, and his shooting skills are par level; he is just great at shooting. I don't remember when he missed his shot. This is Viqar Ahmed, and he is the leader of this team, and he is the mastermind of this team, as you know, even after having such a great talent if not handled properly, then it is of no use, so he leads them and he knows how to extract the best from them." So one of the leaders said, "Okay, ok, I believe you, so shall we start?". Then Viqar replied, Why not, but let's start from the beginning. "20 years ago, a scientist invented a device called the retinal vision, and this was to be installed in every human eyes, and it was like a camera, and it automatically censor nudity and record everything, and by doing so, the crime rate falls 98%, and the reason was that anyone who is suspected of doing a crime, we would check their retinal vision, and in that, we can easily see that he did it or not, and even though the culprit ran after doing a murder, we can see the retinal vision of a dead body and can see who committed the crime, and if even a culprit took the eyes of the victim, the tracker automatically started as the eye is getting apart from the body, and it goes even for rape and other cases. Later on, for many modes were added, like recording and saving it on the phone or zooming something that is far away and facial recognitionand many more. So our department was closed as the crimes almost ended. Isn't it too good? It was too perfect, and no one can really break it. But then this new criminal came from nowhere and started murdering people." One of the officers stood and asked, "How could he, when we can record it?" Viqar furiously told me that"Look,first of all, always let me finish don't interrupt me next time, and secondly, because somehow he is hacking the retinal vision zooming it, and the victim couldn't even see who is the person to kill them. So we need to know that is how this person can hack this thing.because it was hack-proof, and even Rumaisa couldn't even hack it." I don't think he is hacking it, "says Sameed. Shafi said, "Then what?Do you think he is doing? Sameed told me that."According to me, after seeing his crimes, he is just making the victim zoom it in panic". Viqar took interest and said, "Can you elaborate?" Look, it is simple. At night on terrace of the office Viqar was standing and was smoking a cigarette. Someone came and hugged him from behind and told him to come on.You told me that you would stop this. Viqar threw it and turned and said, "Sorry, Rumaisa, but you know all this after a long time, all this mess, murderers, and crimes, like it feels like a headache."Rumaisa smiled and said, "You know I have a good medicine for that headache," and slowly lean forward and kiss Viqar on the lips. Then suddenly Sameed knocked on the door. "Excuse me, sir; I guess I didn't disturb you guys." Viqar laughed and told you really ruined my whole night. You know, Sameed, ok, leave it. Why did you come here ? He said there is an update on the case we tried to know about the people of a few weeks, and we found something surprising." They both ran to the office, and there Shafi said, "Hey bro, wanna hear some strange news? The Shafi asked, "So then how can he kill them when they don't know him as he is not in one of them, like  Obviously, he would wear someone's mask from those 10 people, but still, you know, it will be hard to mimic it properly." Viqar said, "Look, it is 3 o'clock at night, so I would say you guys to go and take some rest because after a long time you guys are working and it is not good to work.soo much on the first day". When everybody was going out, Sameed came and told Viqar, "Sir, I think that the criminal is playing with us because he knows how we think and how we investigate, so I think that he even knows our every single step because, as I am thinking from his mind, I am sure he is supervising us, and tomorrow he is even going to kill another person, and I think he will leave a note to challenge you, I think." Viqar smiled and said, "Hey, first of all, don't tell me, sir, I am Viqar , and secondly, I know what you mean and you are correct, but let him think that we don't know and don't try to do anything by yourself. Ok, we will discuss this tomorrow." Sameed turned, and while going, he was thinking about how Viqar easily accepted my theory. Then Rumaisa was waiting for a taxi when suddenly a car stopped in front of her and the glass was lowered. Inside, there was Viqar, and he said, "Hey, I think I need medicine for that headache. Are you free?" She smiled, opened the door, and sat inside and said, Yes, I will give you the medicine, but as soon as we reach home. They reached home, and then they had sex, and later on Viqar said, "Hey, you still love me, don't you ? then why did you leave me?" Viqar got up, turned, pushed her to bed, leaned down, and whispered, "Come on, really, you think that? I was just doing my job." Then they were again going to start when suddenly Viqar got a call, and when he picked up the call, Rumaisa told him "who in the middle of the sex pick up the calls". The voice from the call was"Hey Viqar, you are quite good at bed, like your duty, but you know, if I were at your place, I would have bit the mole of her chest." And then his phone got hung up. Viqar got up, wore the clothes, and told Rumaisa, "This is serious he can see what is even censored." And it was 7 in the morning, Viqar called the whole team in the office . Viqar continued, "And one more major concern is that as he can see the censored things, which means if he has access to higher executives, he can read secret files of us, and he can even see us now, so he will know our all plans, and yes, he is smart; he knew we were going to do that, and he was waiting for that moment." Shafi said, "Why would he reveal us, like if he wouldn't tell us, we would never know, and he could never get caught, and it was a foolproof plan like a perfect crime." Sameed said, "It is simple, he was getting bored as he wanted us to be competitive, and he-wanted to show us our helplessness that even if he reveals his biggest secret, we couldn't do anything". Shafi said, "I really want to meet this bastard." Rumaisa went out of the room and even Viqar was about to go out, Shafi called him and grabs Viqar's collar told him, "bro I used to respect you, but I don't know how fucked a person should be to have sex with ex-wife and current colleague..." Viqar pushed him and told him, "I guess we have more important problems that discuss my sex life". Shafi said, "Come on, bro, the word sex life does not exist. Sameed said, "Is Viqar really that cold?" Shafi told me, "No, no, he is so caring, but just with her, he acts like that. I don't know why, btw, eat it fast; it doesn't taste good after it gets cold." Then Sameed asked another question: "And what about the person Rumaisa was trying to tell me on the first day?" I wish I could meet her, like I really wanted to see a girl who can love this much someone, Viqar is lucky there are always girls who love him even though he never loves them back...... no worries one day I will get someone like her....., ooh leave that no emotional talks, me and rumaisa found the person who killed her but he was found burned to ashes, so I guess you know who killed him.".Sameed replied "OK, last question........". then Shafi interrupted and told no more useless talks. I brought you here so that we can discuss the case because this time I am getting a feeling that we will lose and the villain will win. Sameed laughed and told 'villain' wow Shafi, you likemovies, it seems. And then Shafi told yea I love movies especially crime thriller, and wanna know a secret 'I joined this job just because I love to do this stuff". Sameed replied "oooh wow, I also love watching those, any favourite???" Shafi replied "current favourite is Asur series and man just loved it yaar". Sameed told "yeaaa I also loved it, it is sooo underrated". Shafi told "wooow you watched it ??? I agree it is underrated i never talked with a person who watched it". They had a good talk, and then shafi said, "Bro I really like you. From today onwards, we are the best friends, and for this,I will call you Sam, and you can call me what you want." Sameed laughed and said, "Why not? I will.Call you shaft I guess.... Shafi laughed and told Bro, You really don't know how to name someone, but no worries." Then Shafi said, "Hey Sam, you know how our brain works, so that's why you manipulated me and made your best friend."I don't know I am not as smart as you, but I can sense when people play with my mind, and tears started coming from his  eyes." Sameed said, "I don't want to lie, but I am really alone in my life because people think that I manipulate them whenever I want, but when I came here,I wanted to make friends, and you were the best person to do so that you shouldn't leave me alone." Shafi told me, "No worries, bro, I will never leave you". Suddenly, the phone rang, and it was Viqar's call, both of them ran to the office and saw that Rumaisa and Viqar were already there and Viqar said that "today we found another death.body, and this time he is a millionaire, and this time the criminal even wrote something in the brain of that person". Sameed was like, How is that even possible to write in someone's brain? Rumaisa then explained that by saving there, like a  memory and wiping everything from the brain, so when we tried to check the retinal vision of the dead person, it states that a memory scan and when we did it, there was like, SAMEER MYNAME. I guess you are hearing and seeing us, Sameer, so listen carefully. I'm going to find you and kill you even if it takes away my job." Then Viqar told everyone, "Sorry to hurt you, Rumaisa, but I am sure he hacked every single retinal vision of ours, and we have no option but to remove this by getting the permission of executives, and I will make them understand why it is important." They all agreed, and after a few attempts, they got permission for retinal vision removal, but before surgery, they were told that, remember, after this, you cannot defend yourself in any case, and if by chance any crime happens and if the evidence is against you guys, you will be executed without any questions. He picked up the call, and the man said, Put it in speaker. After a few days, they were 6 murders, and all the evidence was against them. So they were all imprisoned, and commissioner told that look, I did my best, but law has a different operating bodies, and they only trust evidence, and your evidence is not like that planted one, the evidence was well hidden, so we had to appointment of a new team to search for evidenceand sadly, we found your evidence, so nothing can be done, but as you guys have served many years for our country, you will not be executed but will be imprisoned for whole life. And they all were imprisoned. They were allowed to go to the office one last time, so they all met there and placed their batches and guns on the table, then placed their batches and guns on the table then Viqar told sorry guys it was my mistake and because of me you guys are here please then he was going to kneel down, sameed came and told "bro why are you asking for forgivenesses, all are as guilty as you are", then they started crying and told and you know this was my best days like if I even got executed I will be soo happy these was my last days and I really made good friends like shafuu (laughed While crying) yea i named you this". then Rumaisa also told "yea same for me this was one of the greatest days of my life, and Shafi told Sam, You still don't know how to properly name someone, but no problem, I will accept this name. Then they all gave each other a good hug, and they even made a circle. Then they said good-bye to each other, and then the police entered and handcuffed them and covered their faces withblack cloth, but before they could lose their vision, they saw each other and smiled.
