pink matter by frank ocean is playing from chris' phone as orange hues caused from the lighter he is holding to the joint in his hands and the sun setting above them dance across his face. destiny's eyes are wide as he looks at her sat across from him. "just watch me first," he tells her softly.
she only gives a nod of her head in response, which causes the corner of chris' lip to turn upwards before he sets the lighter down and finally brings the joint to his mouth. she watches him, almost awestruck because she has never been so close to such activities before despite being friends with adora and ruben, and wishes he didn't look so good doing this. he sucks in the smoke so effortlessly though, and when he lowers it from his mouth, he takes notice of her expression and grins momentarily before inhaling once more and blowing it all out.
destiny inhales some of the smoke and blinks repeatedly at the strong smell of it. chris chuckles hoarsely at the way her face scrunches up before bringing the joint to his lips once again. he takes a longer drag this time and she's honestly a little amazed when he inhales it all without coughing for a second time. she knows once she's tries, it will most likely be the complete opposite.
