The five religious leaders were members of the Ljubljana branch of Paranormal House, an international organization dedicated to the study and exploration of the paranormal and supernatural phenomena around the world. They had joined the organization because of their personal interest and curiosity in the mythical and supernatural creatures of Slovenia, their homeland. They had formed a team and traveled around the country, investigating the legends and mysteries that fascinated them. They called themselves the Slovenian Supernatural Society, or SSS for short.

One day, they received an invitation from a fellow member of Paranormal House, who claimed to have found something extraordinary in a remote village in the Julian Alps. He said he had unearthed an ancient bronze statue of a horned beast, which he believed was a relic of a prehistoric cult that worshipped a dark and evil god. He asked the SSS to come and examine the statue, and help him unravel its secrets.

The SSS agreed, and soon they were on their way to the village, driving through the scenic mountain roads. They arrived at the fellow member's house, where he greeted them warmly and showed them his discovery. The statue was about two meters tall, and depicted a muscular creature with a human-like body and a bull-like head. It had long horns, sharp teeth, and a menacing expression. It was covered with strange symbols and patterns, which the fellow member said were ancient runes of an unknown origin.

"This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen," he said. "It must be at least three thousand years old, maybe older. It was buried under a pile of rocks, near a cave that I think was used as a temple by the cult. I think they sacrificed animals and humans to this beast, hoping to appease its wrath and gain its favor. I have been studying it for weeks, but I still don't understand its meaning or purpose. That's why I need your help. You are experts in the supernatural, and maybe you can find some clues that I missed."

The SSS members were intrigued by the statue, and agreed to help the fellow member. They examined the statue carefully, using their knowledge and intuition to decipher its secrets. They also visited the cave, where they found more evidence of the cult's rituals and practices. They found bones, ashes, and bloodstains, as well as more statues and carvings of the horned beast. They felt a dark and oppressive atmosphere in the cave, as if something evil was still lurking there.

They spent several days in the village, working on the statue and the cave. They also talked to the villagers, who were friendly and hospitable, but also wary and fearful of the statue. They said that the statue was cursed, and that it brought bad luck and misfortune to anyone who touched it or looked at it. They said that the statue was the embodiment of an ancient evil, a demon that had plagued their ancestors for centuries. They called it the Kudlak, the Horned One, the Lord of Darkness.

The SSS members were skeptical of the villagers' superstitions, but they also felt uneasy about the statue. They wondered if there was more to it than meets the eye, if there was some hidden power or influence behind it. They decided to do some more research, and contacted their colleagues and friends in other branches of Paranormal House, asking them if they knew anything about the Kudlak or the cult that worshipped it.

They received some surprising and disturbing answers. They learned that the Kudlak was not a local legend, but a universal one. They learned that similar statues and cults had been found in other parts of the world, in different times and places. They learned that the Kudlak was not a demon, but a god. A god of chaos, violence, and destruction. A god that had been worshipped by many civilizations, under many names. A god that had been feared and hated by many others, who had tried to destroy it and its followers. A god that had never died, but had only slept, waiting for the right time to awaken and unleash its wrath upon the world.

They learned that the Kudlak was the oldest and most powerful of the mythical and supernatural creatures that they had been investigating. They learned that the Kudlak was the enemy of all that was good and holy. They learned that the Kudlak was the Antichrist.

They realized that they had made a terrible mistake. They realized that they had not found the statue, but the statue had found them. They realized that they had been chosen by the Kudlak, to be its instruments and heralds. They realized that they had been lured into a trap, and that they were in grave danger.

They decided to leave the village, and warn the world about the Kudlak. They packed their bags, and got into their car. They drove away from the fellow member's house, and headed for the main road. They did not notice the fellow member watching them from his window, with a sinister smile on his face. They did not notice the statue glowing in the dark, with a malicious gleam in its eyes. They did not notice the villagers following them, with knives and torches in their hands. They did not notice the storm clouds gathering in the sky, with thunder and lightning in their wake.

They did not notice anything, until it was too late.
