New school new people

As my mum pulls up to the school
in her beat up car I already feel like people are looking at me it's a pretty small school so everyone basically knows each other and as I stepped out the car I got a lot of stares

As I walk into school I feel like everyone knows I'm new as I look at a few people I see some girls look at me then whisper to their friends and then their friends head would turn, look at me and laugh so I just decided to keep my head down.

As I was trying to make my way to the front office to collect my student pack I saw a huge crowd of people I got curious and decided to investigate.

I walk over to the crowd and pushed my way to the front I was quite small so I could hurry past them only to see 3 boys all walking in a line to the school "who are they" I say to the girl next to me who looked about my year.

"The tall blonde one on the left that's Cameron rock" I nod as she tells me the next 2 "the tall brunette one in the middle is Charlie green he's the captain of the schools rugby team,and the guy on the right is Andrew Johnson he's also on the rugby team and his parents are super rich" "oh" I say as I look at her.

"And my names Penelope evens" she says with a smile
"Oh hi" I say and smile back
"Are you new?" She asks
"Yes I am, is it that obvious" I say
"Very" she says as we both laugh.

Penelope asks to join me in my journey to the office to collect my student pack with my time table and map in and a booklet about the school once we collected it I opened the folder.

As I was reading the times table with Penelope she said
"Omg we have most classes together"
"Really" I say in shock. I have math first with Penelope so we both start heading there.

As me and penn enter the building I see the three guys I saw this morning I ask penn "what makes them so special" as turn my gaze to the three guys standing outside a class room " they are 3 of the most popular guys at school, and their in most of our classes" penn says
"Yeah but why are they popular" I say confused
"Cause they all play rugby" she say
"Oh" I say as we head to the class were they boys are looks like they are in our math class I say in my head.

As we wait outside the math class I see a friendly girl with blonde hair and a big smile skipping over to Penelope " hey Penn" she says and smiles at her " hey girlie" Penn says with a big smile
" Penn who's this" as the girl gestures towards me
"Oh this is Erica she's new" Penn says
"Oh welcome she says, my names Allie, Allie rock" she says then grabs me and hugs me so tight I can't breath
"H-hi" I say trying to breath
"Oops sorry" she says
"I just love new people"she said with a happy smile
"It's ok" I say and smile warmly back at her.
