After my shower, I skipped downstairs and proceeded to make breakfast for everyone.

I hummed a cheery tune as I glided through the kitchen. Dad walks in as he fiddles with his police uniform and a smile flits across his face at the familiar sight "Morning sweetheart" he greets as he sits down and immediately receives a plate and a cup of coffee "Thank you" he says before digging.
"You're welcome and good morning" I chirp making him chuckle "What's got you so excited?" He asks "I get to see half of all my old friends!" I told him before sitting down and practically inhaling my food just so I can get to school faster "Don't forget to chew" dad says in amusement.
I only nodded before placing my plates in the sink "I'm going grocery shopping after school, so I'll meet up with you at the diner?" I ask making him nod "Sounds good" I then peck his cheek and say "Bye daddy! Love you!" Before darting out.

I'm released from my thoughts when I hear a loud, metallic belching noise and I, along with everyone else, turn our heads as Bella parks, and I can see her mortified face. All eyes are on her as she climbs out of her truck, I can tell that she's trying to play it off and restart her introduction by 'sexily' slinking out of her car only to step into a puddle and soak her shoes.
