We were now about a month into filming and things between Walker and I are awkward to say the least. I still run into Bodhi as he works at the local gas station and have started to develop feeling for him. But that didn't matter right now, since today was the day the kiss between Walker and I was being filmed, god this was going to suck.

"Hey" Walker called after me as I walked out of the trailer, just finishing makeup and hair

"Hi" I replied turning around

"How are you?" He smiles

"Good" I say, forcing a smile

"Are you ready for this scene?" He asks looking at the ground

"Mhm" I look at him

"Ok, I'll see you in a few minutes" He tells me walking away

I sigh, walking away to check up on Emma to see shes making a TikTok with Ariana and Ryan, I start to laugh staring at the three of them.

"Hey, CC" Emma starts "I'll be right back guys" Emma smiles at the two then pushes me where no one can hear

"CC!" she exclaims

"What?" I look at her extremly confused

"You ready for your kiss scene?" She smiles, making a heart with her hand

"Shut up!" I swat her hand away, looking around to see if anyone had heard

"You have to still like him" She looks at me waiting for an answer

"Oh, c'mon you know what happened"

"Yeah, but you were head over heals" she persists, holding out the last word

"I have to get to set" I roll my eyes, changing the subject

Today was one of the days we actually filmed outside instead of on a sound stage, we've also been blocking this scene for a week and I've been practicing so we wouldn't have to re do it more than once or twice, I really just hope Walker doesn't mess up.

We are filming at a local cafe with good scenery and I love filming outside so that's at least one thing I could look forward to

Walker and I sit down in the cafe chairs looking at each other. We filmed half of this yesterday and now we are filming the other half, the kissing half

"Quiet on set!" The director shouts and all the talking quickly dies down

"Background action" the assistant director calls, that was the cue for all the background actors to start whatever their doing before they call action

"Action!" The director calls, the cue for Walker and I to start

"Ok, I'll see you around, Jess" I stand up, from the seat I was sitting in and pushing it in walking away, my brown hair blowing in the wind and me taking a deep breath

"Wait!" He stops me, jogging to catch up and I turn around, confused

"That's it?" He asks raising his eyebrows

"What do you mean?" I look at him my nose scrunching

"That's it, that's-" he looks around "These past few weeks, the weeks I spent with you, I've been the happiest I've been in a while and-" he laughs "I know this is supposed to be fake or- or whatever but I like you, really like you, Elle and-" he starts and I cut him off by kissing him.

I've been waiting to kiss Walker since I started to get to know him, but it didn't feel the same, ever since the party it won't feel the same and it could also be the fact that it was just acting.

After the scene was done I was praying not to hear "Back to firsts" which means the director wanted to take it from our first positions of the scene and re start.

"Cut!" I hear him yell, and I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding

The one thing I actually respected Walker for is how he can stay professional, even though we're not the best of friends I don't let it mess up my acting and neither does he

The little bell rings as I open the door.

"Hi, welcome in" I hear a monotone voice greet me, while reading a book

"Hi, welcome in" I repeat in the same tone

"CC?" He looks up

"Hey, Bodhi" I smile

"What are you doing here?" He asks

"Just wanted to check if the customer service here still sucks" I look at him

"So your basically saying you wanted to see me" he raises his eyebrows, leaning on the counter

"Maybe" I start "What are you reading?" I look down at his book in hand, leaning on the counter too

"Leave the world behind" he looks down at it to

"Oh, I just watched the movie, is it good?"

"Yeah, it's really interesting" he reply's "I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out with me sometime?"

"Really?" I raise my eyebrows smiling and he nods

I was about to answer as I heard the bell ring indicating someone walked in, we both turn our heads at the same time. Walker.

"What are you doing here?" I wonder looking at Walker

"Emma was looking for you and I figured you'd be here since your here all the time now..and now I know why" he said, mumbling the last part

"Ok, thanks for letting me know" I reply, looking back at Bodhi
