I arrived at the academy, feeling more and more nervous. I didn't wanted to run into the imperial Elites again. The day before, I had managed to upset them with my words, and now I regretted my actions. I have realized how challenging it would be to outwit such powerful opponents.

As I made my way through the large halls, bustling with the energetic conversations of students, I couldn't help but notice the elegant and privileged young women who seemed to grace every corner with their beauty.

After a while, I eventually located my locker, clearly marked with the number 52. However, much to my dismay, the posters I had proudly put up the previous day were now torn and ruined, leaving me feeling deeply saddened and increasingly frustrated.

Unlocking the locker, I was greeted by an unsettling sight-a motionless mouse rested lifeless on top of my books, its blood staining the pages.

Disgust washed over me, but I resolved to swiftly dispose of the creature in the nearby bin. Turning my attention to the stained books, I gently wiped off the blood, determined to not let these incidents affect me.

With a heavy sigh, I headed towards the classroom, only to be unexpectedly tripped by a girl who intentionally blocked my path. As I prepared for a fall, I found myself caught in someone's strong embrace.

Looking up, I met the captivating gaze of a young man. His fiery hair flowed like flickering flames around his face, his eyes shimmering with an orange hue, and a mischievous grin played upon his lips.

"Got you." He grinned, his teeth gleaming like freshly fallen snow.

Reluctantly, I released myself from his grip and regained my balance. This boy had a presence about him - confident and commanding, like a red dragon demanding attention.

"Thanks...?" I replied hesitantly, still unsure of his intentions.

Unfazed by my aloofness, he extended a hand for a shake, but I chose to ignore the gesture.

"Julian Skylarker." He introduced himself, his voice smooth and confident. "When did you enroll here?" He inquired, his captivating smile never fading.

"Yesterday." I responded, walking briskly towards my desk while he followed closely behind.

"Mmm... I wasn't here yesterday. Seems like I've missed quite a bit." He stated, positioning himself in front of me as I unpacked my bag and settled it on my desk.

Isn't he one of the elite students? Why is he talking to me?

Realizing my confusion, he flashed another disarming smile. "Don't you realize I'm a foreigner?" I asked, struggling to grasp his curiosity.

"Oh, that was the first thing I noticed." He smoothly replied, undeterred by my puzzled expression.

"Then why are you even interested?" I asked further, feeling confused by his unexpected attention.

"You seem interesting. Why did you choose to study here?" He inquired, his eyes brimming with genuine curiosity.

"To further my education." I replied, a hint of defiance in my voice.
