"Akanksh ek baat thi" his mother's tone was calculative which meant that it is something that will upset or make him angry.
"Yes mummy?" The tention rolling off the dinning table was too intense for anyone to not notice.
"Beta....Aradhya pyaari bacchi hai na?" Yes she is cute but he won't say that in front of the whole family so he just looks at her with his eyes narrowing.
"Rip the bandaid off Ishu! Akanksh we like Adhira for you and would like you opinion on her. Her and her daughter both are such lovely girls" Sneha said when her best friend wasn't capable of doing so.
He thought about this but somewhere in his heart he knew that his answer would be a yes so he just decided to go with a "Hmm" this was enough for everyone to go crazy and Ishita straight to the phone to call the Awasthi's.
Akanksh glanced at his son who can't understand what the hype was about. He just hoped that this was the right decision as it involved his son's heart.
"Now we just have to wait for her answer"

Adhira came down to a rather quiet table for breakfast which in Awasthi family was unusual.
"Good morning maa, papa" she greeted het parents and sat down beside Aradhya who too was quiet.
'Thats suspicious'
"We have something to discuss with you beta" her papa's tone made her look at him sceptically "What is it?" She was trying not to show how nervous she was.
"Your mother got a call from Ranisa and they have proposed a marriage alliance for you with Akanksh Singh Chauhan" her eyes grew wide as saucers.
"The Akanksh Singh Chauhan? Papa but I don't think I can do it......you know last time I tried and you know what happened......what if-" she controlled her breath and looked at her daughter who was happily chewing on her bread jam. "Won't this decision hamper her security along with mine?"
" I understand beta....how about you raise your concerns and if you are not satisfied then we will just reject this marriage. You know we don't care about your marriage but think about it.....two kids can have the parents they always were lacking of" Adhira loved Ayaan and if that jerk was ready to accept her terms then the kids can be happier.
"Okay I can give a shot . By the way, when are they coming here?" She said with a sigh. Her mother grinned at this

Adhira added a small shiny bindi to go with her outfit and wore her favourite jhumka that she recently bought a few days ago. Along with it she added a silver bracelet and looked at herself in the mirror.
