Notti woke up , he really couldn't sleep , him getting shot at kept replaying in his head
Notti always felt this guilt, and always thought sy'ari , anxiety and paranoia came from him, but he didn't wanna think about that right now
He slowly and quietly got out the bed so he wouldn't wake up sy'ari , he went down stairs just to see dd downstairs
" yo lil notti what ya doin up" dd said
" I couldn't sleep " notti said whoo walking to the kitchen
Dd seen that notti didn't look like he was okay " yo ma heart you good " dd said while getting up
" I'm just thinking about some shit " notti said
" what ya thinking about just talk to me ma heart " dd said
" I think sy'ari anxiety and paranoia coming from me" notti mumbled
Dd frowned " why ya think that, your a good boyfriend to her and shit "
" I know I just don't like when he paranoid about me, or feel like she can't leave my side " notti said while putting his head down
" you know she got a lot of trauma considering the fact ha dad was a drug dealer , she just don't want nothing happening to you and y'all just gotta accept that " dd said while turning his game on
Notti shook his head " should I go talk to her about it and see what's going on"
" duhh nigga ho talk to ya girl and try to get a understanding out of everything " dd said while putting his head set
Notti ran upstairs back to his room and shook sy'ari " bae wake up "
" bae come on wake up , for real " notti said
Sy'ari opens her eyes and sits up " what's wrong Ethan"
"We need to talk mama " notti said while turning in his led lights on white
" okay what about" sy'ari said
" mama why you always so paranoid and have really bad anxiety like you never opened up to me so let me know " notti said while sitting next to her
Sy'ari sighed " well " she said
" growing up , I lived with my mom and dad and we was basically a big happy family , I was my dad little princess , he always made sure I was straight even after him and my mom broke up " sy'ari said while pulling her hair back
Notti didn't say anything he just stared and listened to her
" my dad was also a big New York street gang member and he was a drug dealer , and one day when it was his week to take care of me , I watched my dad die infront of me, somebody came behind him and shot him in the head and in the chest" sy'ari said as tears formed in her eyes
" and after my mom found out she went in deep depression and I had to take care of myself , after seeing how she was, I promised myself I would never date a gang member, but then I seen you and I gave you a chance " sy'ari said , while crying
Notti pulled her in for a hug not saying anything " mama I'm so sorry "
" and that's why I moved away and stayed with zay'Anna, everything was so draining , she was still grieving over my dad death , and I couldn't be around that type of environment " sy'ari said
Notti was speechless he never knew this about sy'ari and he felt bad , now he felt even more guilt
" mama do I ever put pressure on you , like am I also the reason of your paranoia " notti asked her
" I mean no , I know what you guys do to get y'all money , I just really want you to be more careful , like you said , your not gonna be here forever , but I don't want that to end so soon " sy'ari said while hugging notti
" I'm sorry mama , I promise I'll do better or try" notti said while kissing her forehead
Sy'ari yawned " you wanna go back to sleep or watch me play the game "
Sy'ari laughed " yeaaa I think imma go back to sleep "
Notti also laughed " ite mama I love you "
" I love you to " sy'ari said
Notti got in game ,while watching sy'ari go back to sleep , half of him felt relief and the other half of him still felt guilt, he got back in bed with sy'ari and just stared at the ceiling
" what are you loooing at " sy'ari said
notti jumped " I thought you went back to sleep"
" I tried but now I'm wide awake and can't go back to sleep " sy'ari said with energy
Notti looked at sy'ari and sighed " what's wrongggg" sy'ari asked
Notti shook his head , he wasn't good with expressing so he shut her out
" Ethan ... your shutting me out again " sy'ari said
" I don't wanna talk" notti said while turning over
" Ethan can you stop your finna make me cry" sy'ari said while getting up
" I'm sorry bae but you know ion express myself , just leave me alone for a minute okay " notti said
Sy'ari laid on top of him " baby , I know what your thinking and I just want you to know your not the reason for my paranoia and anxiety, I promise so please don't think that "
Notti hearing that kinda cheered him up " okay mama " he said while gripping her ass
She smiled " there you goooo"
