amelie was almost 40 weeks now she had definitely being struggling a lot as the due date got closer and amelie was still recovering from her fall

amelie was woken by tom who was walking out the bathroom in a towel "oh my sorry love" he said as he saw her she just smiled as he kissed her head "do you know what i'm craving" said amelie "pickles wrapped in cheese" said amelie "oh my god and grapes and cheese" said amelie tom screwed up his nose at the thought of how disgusting that sounded to eat "i'll go out the shops and grab it for you" said tom "your so amazing" said amelie kissing him "do you need anything else from the shops" said tom getting changed "there should be a list on the bench of things we need to meal prep before baby girl gets here" said amelie "ok love and do you want me to help you downstairs before i leave" said tom "it's ok i will go down when i want to" said amelie

amelie was brushing her wet hair from her shower "i'm going to go now" said tom kissing amelie "ok my love" said amelie "are you sure you will be ok home alone" said tom rubbing amelies back "yes i'm sure" said amelie giving him a reassuring smile in the mirror he kissed her again "bye honey" he said waving and smiling amelie waved back if amelie was being honest she was terrified to be home alone for the first time since she had her accident with the stairs but she didn't want to worry tom

amelie was setting the rest of the things in the nursery ready for when she arrives amelie was folding clothes and putting everything in place amelie looked at the nursery she was so happy with it she was so excited to bring her little girl home amelie sat in the rocking chair she smiled as she placed her hands on her stomach "whenever you ready baby we are ready for you" said amelie "we both cant wait to meet you but your dad is just over the moon to meet you he doesnt stop talking about it i can't wait for you to meet him and see how much of a good dad he is" said amelie "he is so amazing he has literally gone to the shops all because i was craving something" said amelie smiling not realising tom was right on the other side of the wall "HONEY" he yelled acting like he wasnt listen to what amelie was saying "in here" she said he walked in smiling "hi" she smiled "hey love" he said kissing her "how was shopping" said amelie going to get up "fun" said tom sarcastically as he helped amelie up "thank you" she said kissing him he just smiled "i finished setting up the nursery" said amelie tom was just looking around in awe "it's perfect" he said "i know" said amelie "im so glad we went with the flower and bows theme" said amelie "your like superwomen you know" said tom amelie raised her eyebrows at him as she laughed

tom wasn't feeling the best so he went upstairs for a bit when amelie went to check on him about 40 minutes ago he was asleep so amelie just left him sleep in bed while she was cooking amelie had put on the daisy jones and the six vinyl on as she sorted out what to make for meal prep she hummed along to the song let me down easy as she was rolling pastry she was just singing along softly as she felt tom wrap his arms around her "hey" he said in a sleepy voice "hey love why arent you asleep your not well" said amelie "cant sleep" said tom amelie turned around and kissed his head "can i help" said tom "only if your up for it" said amelie tom smiled nodding but also just wanting to take in the moment he rested his chin on amelies shoulder "can you come lay in bed babe" he said "i'm cooking my love but after i will" said amelie "want to you need to me to do" said tom "you can start on the lasagne" said amelie smiling at tom who nodded his head

it had been a few hours they were just cooking together listening to music as my girl by the temptations started playing tom put his hand out to ask amelie to dance amelie laughed "my lady" he said "such a gentleman" said amelie smiling taking his hand they both started dancing "if this doesnt bring on labour then i don't know what will" said amelie tom laughed

amelie and tom had both just given up on dancing the song invisible string by taylor swift was playing softly as amelie had her head against toms chest and they were just swaying to the music enjoying each other company "you know this could literally be our last day before we become parents" said amelie she felt tom take a breath he kissed amelies head there moment was cut short by the sound of an alarm going off amelie jumped out of fright tom started laughing "oh shut up" said amelie hitting his arm amelie went over to her phone to fix the alarm tom was admiring amelie as tom accidentally nearly dropped the food then accidentally touched the burning hot tray he made a sound as he burnt his hand "whats wrong" said amelie panicked "nothing just burnt my hand" said tom "come here" said amelie running the cold water

tom and amelie spent the rest of there day lounging around watching tv together amelie was currently wrapped up in toms arms while her head was on his chest he was just stroking her hair "i never asked but how did you burn your hand" said amelie "i was admiring you and then accidentally nearly dropped the tray and then burnt my hand"  said tom amelie giggled "you have to watch what your doing when in the kitchen love" she said he started laughing
