colette was about 2 and half weeks old now amelie and tom decided it would be a good idea to go on a little road trip to see rachel and josh since they hadn't met colette yet amelie had feed colette and put her back to sleep so she went for shower while she could tom was in his office in the room next door he had to an video call interview for a new movie he was staring in tom was listening to the lady talking when he could hear colette screaming "i'm so sorry i have to stop you just a moment my daughter is crying and my wife is in the shower i have to go settle her" said tom quickly getting up and leaving the room
tom returned a few moments later he had collette with a blanket over her against his chest "im so sorry again" said tom "it's fine a dad has to do what a dad has to do" she said tom smiled nodding as he lightly rocked trying to get her to go back to sleep
colette had spent the whole drive asleep in her car seat because she didn't have her morning nap they had pulled up outside rachels "she is going to scream when we get her out the car" said tom "i know" said amelie as the two took a minute to prepare themselves "ok i'll get her out you get the bag" said amelie tom nodded in agreement when amelie picked colette up she started to whine and fuss but wasnt really awake "shhh" said amelie rocking trying to calm her as tom knocked on the door "THERE HERE" she heard rachel yell before she opened the door "oh my god ahh" said rachel hugging tom "oh my goodness" said rachel seeing baby colette wrapped up in amelies arms "she so tiny" said rachel "and look at you mama" said rachel "you look so good for just having a baby" said rachel "stop i love you" said amelie hugging rachel josh hugged both tom and amelie before colette started getting upset "oh my" said rachel as amelie moved colette around "shes perfect" said rachel as amelie handed her to rachel "hello angel" said rachel as colette just stared "look at you beautiful" said rachel "shes so sweet" said rachel "such a cutie" said josh
