Jet Vs The Princess

Jet smirked. Carts burned and people fled as the few soldiers were picked off one by one by his skilled warriors.

Jet Knew that their raids were working. He had overheard some soldiers discussing the fact that the fire nation was struggling to maintain their supply lines and he also noticed the Shou-long Military presence had been increased which meant they were a very real threat.

some of his rebels wanted to lead a coup against the Royal family and use the Shou-long technology against the Fire nation.

However some were beginning to question the motive behind their Guerilla Campaign a campaign that had been ongoing for 2 months. they questioned the motive behind terrorising the Civilians and riding their farms.

The farm raids had only begun recently Due to Jets numbers increasing he needed supplies to feed his men.

so the raids began however jet soon realized that this was more effective than raiding the convoys since the farms supplied them Jet knew that they were doing twice as much damage.

Eventually Night fell and jet returned to their camp. 

The rebels were gathered around a fire since jet normally addressed them after each day and praise their victories

Well done everyone we have struck another blow to the fire nation and their ally. I must admit the beauty of the flames consuming enemy supplies is  a sight that never fails to motivate me to fight harder for freedom."

The group cheered at jets praise.

"Now the fire nation and Shou-long probably think we are just a bunch of kids. A bunch of nobody's who yield to their authority. That's what those soldiers were most likely thinking when the duke landed on their heads and rode them around the a ostrich horse or when Blade used showed them how sniping is really done with their own weapons."

The cheers were deafening however one person was not cheering. Blade he had served in teh Earth kingdom army in teh past before joining teh rebels and he knew that all this trouble they ere causing was bound to get attention that they did not want.

Eventually the gathering cheers Died out and everyone went to bed. However unbeknownst to them a Shou-long force of 2'400 men were approaching the forest quietly.

After Interrogating FU-shin Tanya learned the rebel Base location and how many were there.

She knew that they would ambush her men from the trees and they most likely had Shou-long weaponry with them.

Thus Tanya had to figure out how she was going to defeat a force like that. The obvious choice was simply burn teh forest down but Tanya knew that IT would be impossible to guarantee the rebels would even get caught in the wildfire and plus it would destroy a beautiful forest.  

The second option was have her men spread out and ambush the terrorists. The problem was that spreading out would lower their effectiveness and increase their chances to get caught by the enemy.

Eventually after spending an hour scanning the map of the forest she eventually came up  with an idea.

"You called us mam" Captain Tai says entering the tent with 6 other officers.

"yes captain I have come up with a plan that will destroy the rebel scum. The plan Is simple gentlemen. You see direct combat will be what the rebels will be eager to avoid. However we can only stop them if we can capture or kill them so I have an idea. Tomorrow morning Lieutenant Via will go into the woods with 8 men and Speak aloud a plan for me and my escort to come to Xaulon to settle the peoples unease with lack of trade activity. However when teh plan actually happens we will ambush them as they attack the caravan and I want Captain Tai to take his men and fire at the location the rebel base to pick off any survivors."
