The Day They Took You Away.

I still remember when they took you away
It was 10 after 8, I didn't know what to say.

I waited at our place but you never came..

I look back and laugh..

The first time we met
We got arrested.. cliche.

seventeen was a blur,

we were only kids with the weight of the world.

I do not regret our reconnection.

Only that I couldn't stop you from falling..

Although this is the end...

I hope I see you again.

And if I can't.

I'll make sure your son knows his dad.

As the kind man he was before,
he entered that cell.
